How do we learn how to really use a flogger and crop and paddle for maximum pleasure? I have a feeling there are techniques, but no,idea how or where to learn them :-(

Tristan Taormino just put together a great book called The Ultimate Guide to Kink. There's a chapter in there on using those types of toys. You also may want to play around on Fetlife. The people on the forums are a wealth of info.

look for a dungeon that is in your local area or nearby. see if they have any upcoming lectures/demonstration s/events that you would be able to attend. if all else fails, attend one night and ask a DM (dungeon monitor) some questions and maybe bring a few toys that you would like for them to demonstrate with. i'm still new to BDSM but i have learned heaps from one night at a dungeon and watching DMs and couples play.

Fetlife can be good. Your local community can help. Reading online forums can help. Reddit.com has a subreddit called BDSM community that often has good advice. There are also books on flogging as well. Even try youtube.com and I bet there are some good videos
