Of the two I have right now I prefer the thuddy one that I made myself.
Stinging is nice but the pain doesn't linger as long as it does with a nice thuddy impact toy (at least, not for me).

I find with the lighter, stingy flogger it hurts but just for a minute or two and with the heavier, thuddy one the pain sticks around a while.
I suppose for a longer session the stingy sort would probably be better for most people though.

I don't have a lot of experience with floggers, but I tend to like something more on the stingy side as long as there is a little bit of a thud. I like the sharper pain.
