Yeah, I'm totally oblivious to the ages of my parents. I guess they're kind of perma-40 in my mind And then it's even different in my family, because my dad was born when his parents were like 50, so he was raised on all his older siblings' books and things, so my perspective is a few generations older than you'd expect.

Yeah, and with the double points week, it doesn't make too much of a difference. It's essentially the same amount,but more devoted towards items.

I didnt sign up for ss because I leave tuesday to flordia and I didnt like knowing Id get a package and not be able to know what it was or open it till the 28th. Lol. Im such a child, the anticipation would have killed me.

I'm glad to see you're all excited for the Secret Santa. Would you guys think I was slightly ridiculous if I said I hemmed and hawed about participating? I didn't do it last year because I was about to get married and not sure if I was going to be around for the forum party or not. This year it feels weird to tell somebody "you're shopping for me, have fun!" lol

I'm actually in Starkiller's boat, only I don't know which state I'm going to be in, and when, so I don't want my parents to be accidentally left with a packing cock or something And my non-parents' home has one of those mailboxes that nothing fits in, so if I"m not home fast enough it'll get return-to-sendered

Why not temporarily change your shipping address to where you'd be in Florida?

It seems a bit odd. But, I feel a bit odd when people buy me things. Take my birthday yesterday: my friend insisted on getting the fine alcoholic beverages for the group AND a bottle of Baily's irish cream for myself. XD

Im doing a hold on my mail but still, I dont like it. I already think my mail lady thinks im a nut case cause I get so many packages. I dont need things sitting at the post office for a week. The curiosity might overwhelm her, haha.

I know what you mean - we got a package yesterday -a package today and have three more due in (all from either Descriptive reviews or other things) and I'm thinking "If the mailman knows what webmerchants is - they must think we have a lot of sex..".

Yeah, I'm the type that loves to buy presents but I always feel bad or awkward with people getting me stuff, lol.

Add to the at-least-a-package-a-w eek thing the fact that my boyfriend works second shift, and when I'm around the house I'm never wearing clothes unless I'm expecting guests, so I pretty much always run to the door in a bathrobe... poor delivery guys.

Or lucky delivery guys. I always have to remember to put a bra on when I wake up or the mail lady might see too much boobage.

Yeah, but it will eventually be forced upon you. My boyfriend and friend with benefits (who likes to refer to himself as a 'Harem Member') have had to put up with my stubbornness many times as I prefer to pay for myself. >_> One of them even bolted towards the register to pay first for a meal I ordered.

I wanted to sponsor a couple of folks who couldn't afford it - but then they disappeared off the forum (I didn't tell them what I wanted to do - I just messaged them to see if they were ok).

I felt really bad cause I wanted them to be able to participate.

Honestly, with the double points event last week, there's no reason everyone can't participate in terms of having available points to spend.

Yeah, at least both my USPS and UPS men are men I don't want to grow up and have there be consequences for not having clothes on

I actually have been in the habit of giving my delivery guys slices of pie, when I had like 4 pies in the house when I was practicing for Thanksgiving. I feel bad for making them wait while I find my robe so often, and it's right on a busy street that they have to park behind the building and walk to, so I figure they deserve some baked goods in exchange.

I wonder if I could get my mail sooner if I did that? I know my boobage wouldn't attract them - but pie might!

I really enjoy giving gifts. I do it fairly frequently on EF because of the points program. Sure, I could buy myself toys, but I don't really need much and I love surprising people.
