Just after high school I dated a guy who worked at a customer service location that did Western Union. He said it was incredibly obvious who the drug dealers were. I'm pretty sure your fellas can tell the difference!

@_@ My grandparents are really conservative when it comes to sexual things (nothing else though, it's strange). I just hope they don't start asking questions why I've been getting packages, and I REALLY hope they're not home tomorrow when I get a couple large ones. (whoo, birthday gift card~)

I think its awesome that you can do this though - its what I'd like to be able to do someday as I get more gift cards, etc. I am scared about them changing the video review program and that I won't get as many cards that way.

I worked for Wally world and you could tell who was up to no good with the moneygram.

Yeah, me too. In the last few months I've randomly given a couple gift cards away (well, not really "randomly," but in exchange for writing a review I wanted to read). Once you're an editor, points come pretty quickly. I just bought a MiMi for an old friend from college, as well Oh, that should be at her house today!

I honestly can't imagine that they would stop offering GCs for video reviews.

I'm a little embarrassed about how many points I amassed from editing, but it's also why I can be generous with random gifts and also with donating to Eden Gives Back charities.

I hope not - I'm just wondering since Carrie Ann posted asking about why folks do/don't do them.

I try to write X articles per month for Eden Cafe plus do X videos per month so I have a bit of a toy budget.

I feel bad sometimes that I don't work outside the home - but this is one way I can bring in some "fun stuff" without it coming out of hubby's paycheck.

Yep Cut my zip code out as the vents I hope they're gentle enough in the shipping to keep my flaky crusts intact!


(Hmmm, though---I actually only have one pie tin. I had to keep inelegantly scooping pies into deep plates so I could bake the next trial. I wnder what I would hsip them in.)

Right now my store is hosted on Eden. I have bought a site but needed to wait 60 days to transfer my wordpress blog to it (sorta complicated). I should be close to the 60 days now...if not there already.

Amen to that.

And I have to keep reminding myself---it's really a service that they really need done, and if they weren't giving us points to do it, they'd be hiring on real staff, so this is a good solution for everyone. Also, I get to reach out and welcome new members through it sometimes.

Also, you and I and most of the other editors actually *do* edit. I think I would only feel guilty/embarrassed if I was just publishing things without reading, or leaving in a bunch of errors.

I think my huge pot was because I was an editor for so long. Seriously, it was rather obscene but like I said, I used it to donate heavily to every charity drive so I didn't feel quite so guilty. I wish I could pay my utilities with points.

Ah, yes, I suppose so. I'm wondering when they're going to do the turnover. Even though I love having points all the time, I think having shifts is definitely the right way for them to do things, so everyone can share the wealth a little.
