When I get an email, it says "Someone has posted to "Eden Updates" thread or so on and so forth. Its always posts from everyone even if they ... more
In order to do that we would have to change the entire forums. It's a possibility, just not something that is going to happen in the near future.

Welcome to Eden and thanks for you suggestion. We allow people to participate according to their level of comfort and I feel that forcing people to be in the mentor program is not very fair. It may sound like a good idea on paper, but the mentor program can be grueling and taxing for a student and a new user. A lot of us have very high expectations and we all have very different styles of teaching. It would be difficult to match the right mentor with the right student and what if the mentor doesn't feel like accepting classes because of personal issues...it's just a very slippery slope.

As far as the welcome email, not every user who creates an account on Eden wants to participate in the forums. The welcome email that is sent does hint at the features we offer. It's up to the individual person to click things around the site and see where they land. I mean, you're not going to hurt anything by clicking on any of our links around here. Just play. Learn how things work, if you get confused - ask! We're always happy to help!

Interesting. That's a programming change and would take some time to figure out if it's even possible. But, it's a pretty neat idea. I'm not sure how other users who aren't as active would feel about being displayed like that...I'll pitch it, though.

Well that stinks lol. Thanks for reading

I agree with this. I joined last June and it took me almost 4 months to even figure out how to write a review. My husband was on here and figured everything out for me. It would be great to have that option.

I think if you made it something where you can opt in--like picking your favorite toys for display on your profile--but searchable, it would give people who'd prefer to remain anonymous that option while also allowing people to opt-in and speak out.

Hey, has there been a change in the mentor program that I missed? I looked and apparently I have 6 active classes.
Is this a change or is there some kind of glitch? I don't want to get into trouble for this. D:

You are only limited to accepting 4 students in a 30 day period. You can have as many active students as you want.

Oh, ok then. I think that's where I got confused. Thank you for clearing that up.
I thought you were only allowed to have 5 at a time, and if one graduated/failed/cance led then you couldn't have another for 30 more days.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I thought of an interesting way to deter point-farming behavior from new members who don't know the ropes yet - have a 'cool-down' period before points can be earned. Like a week after account creation, maybe? Then they'd have time to get adjusted to the community as well as the guidelines.

Maybe, along-side that, there could be an optional "read (insert guidelines here) and then take a 5-question quiz" on it to unlock the points early or something.

Honestly, I don't know if that would be a good idea.
The point system is one of the things that really got me hooked on this website. When I first joined if I was told I had to wait a while to be able to earn the points, I honestly probably would have just given up.

I was hoping that EF could stock some more GLBT oriented products, such as the FleshJack by Fleshlight. There are several more sleeves and some are modeled after the more popular gay porn stars.

I thing that an "expected date to be back in stock" would be a very nice feature (and would spare time and money of the support team). Like: expected date "09/12/2012 ; or next week ; or next month ; or "unknown - fill a support ticket".
Other nice feature would be preordering of products - you pay in advance and then wait for the product to be back in stock. One big advantage for the Eden staff here - they will know exactly how many products to order.
