When my vibrating egg broke, I took it apart and tried to figure out what was wrong with it. Try as I might, I could not fix it, but I was left with several interesting parts. So, being the crazy little crafter I am, I decided to not let it go to waste!
I removed the vibrating motor from the egg using wire cutters and pliers for the tougher parts. Then I put the motor magnets aside and used some extra copper wire to make a bail that blended in with the other three coils of thin wire that surrounded the motor. There was a small metal rod jutting out from the top, so I simply wrapped some more wire around it and looped the wire to form the bail. As I was trying to figure out what to put this new pendant on, I realized that the amount of wire left over from the remote was more than enough to make a necklace. So I cut the wire to size and wrapped both ends with copper wire to make a hook clasp.
I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with it, but it was very fun! Here is the end result:

cool. I've done that before with other broken things. Like a computer chip necklace and broken chilli x-mas lights. Be careful that no sharp part or wires are exposed and also know/learn ALL of the materiels in the parts you use. I learned the hard way that lots of that stuff is made of of bad metallic stuff like lead and other stuff not meant to be exposed to skin or air. Safety first.
