I've made some underwear and a bra from a ready made pattern before. Has anyone else sewed their own undergarments, chemises, camis, etc. (with or without a pattern)?

I've never sewn underwear, but I have crocheted a lacy thong and a bikini. Both were tricky since they were being made for friends, so I couldn't exactly go, "hey, I need your bare ass for the next 30 minute." They came out quite nicely, though.

Made a few leather tops for the wife about twenty years ago, she out grew them after the kids were born. I have made a thong for me, used flame fabric and elastic. Fits OK, should have made the pouch a little bigger though. Next one I'll fix that and use something different for the crotch area, that elastic is not the most comfy.
