Same! I like the more flowy nature of them as opposed to pencils.

Since most of my recent "art" has been doodles in the margins of my class notes, I'd have to say a mechanical pencil is the most frequently used medium. However I love using colored pencils and oil pastels when I'm working on a project.

Graphite or sanguine pencils are my favorite to use on a casual basis, though I do like the effects you can get out of watercolor pencils.

Man, it's been ages since I've legitimately sat down and DRAWN. And, since my preferred area is silly doodles and comics, I"m going to say that my preferred thing to use is pencils and ink.
But I'll forever be in love with doing warm up sketches of figures, with sharpie marker on huge sheets of paper. There's just something really niiiice about it gliding so smoothly~~

I do under-drawings in pencil, then outline in pen, then colour with markers. If I just do one layer I generally use pen.

Pastels are fun to manipulate and get the shadows and lines you want <3 its my fav medium at the moment
