There was cranberry sauce on our Thanksgiving table, but I didn't have any.

My mother and boyfriend fought over the cranberry sauce - or, as he called it, "cranberry Jello in a can." They're both crazy about the jellied version.
I prefer the whole cranberry sauce (cranberries in the jello in a can) but my mother will never allow it in the house, so I usually have cranberry ginger ale for my holiday fix. I would like to try homemade whole cranberry sauce at some point.
(Yes, I'm also one of those weirdos who actually drinks the juice the rest of the year. Love them.)
