Aw, yeah. I probably would have gone with coconut milk, which would be thicker. Apple curry sounds really good, though!

So how many people have made alfredo before?

I was super shocked by how easy it is.

The only thing he doesn't eat is seafood and since I have never cooked seafood myself, its not a big deal.

Yeah, I'll have to remember that next time. It is delicious, and quick as I don't use any stock in my curry, only 20-30 minutes cook and prep time. =D

I haven't! I've watched my mom try, but it never seemed to come out quite how we wanted it to.

You should give me the recipe!

Or better yet, you can have it put up on the club blog---just shoot me a PM and I'll give you the details. You even get a $10 GC!

What went wrong? It's actually one of the first things I "teach" when friends ask me to teach them how to cook, mostly because I've never seen it go wrong yet... so I'd love to troubleshoot

I do it very frequently. I normally make the pasta myself when I do it too. Pasta making is SUPER simple

To be quite honest, it's been so long that I can't even really remember. I just remember that it never tasted quite how I would have wanted it to, which is pretty much however Olive Garden made theirs lol.

I do an Olive Garden ziti al forno. I got the recipe from the internet because I love Olive Garden. It tastes awesome. Bet it would taste even better with homemade sauces.

Hmm, that does sound pretty good. I keep saying that I mean to cook, but honestly, until I leave my night job I probably won't get much of a chance.

Welcome to Eden Cooks' December Meeting, everyone! While we're waiting for everyone to congregate, are you planning to get together with family soon, or have you already had your annual gathering? Is it going to be extended-family, or just something small?

The Spanish name for avocados is Aguacate or Palta, but they can also be called Alligator Pears in English

I make pretty all of it. farfalle, rigatoni, ravioli, spaghetti. I don't have a machine either. I just use a rolling pin and roll it all out by hand

My ex used to make it for me, it was like 3 kinds of dairy fat plus nutmeg IIRC

Mmmmm-hm. Although this one has sun dried tomatoes in place of the nutmeg. But it's definitely a rare-occasion, ridiculously delicious food.
