Have you tried the new Bacon Sundae by Burger King? I wonder how many calories it contains? Are they selling them near your neighborhood? Are they selling them in New York City since Mayor Bloomburg seems to have an issue against anyone making our own personal food choices!
I like sundaes and I like bacon. The thought of them together makes me want to vomit.
I saw on the news today BK did a test in Tennesee but it sounds like they have yet to roll this out nationwide. Apparently there was enough demand during the test.
I love bacon, but I don't think I want to mix it with ice cream. But here is an article about the sundae saying that it has 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar.

I just found out that Denny's has something like it on their menu; but as a limited time only! A 'Maple' Bacon Sundae!
UGH! This just would be terrible! But I'm totally a texture person, I'll eat the blandest food ever if it has the right texture. That's why I don't like crunchy peanutbutter (crunchy food in my mushy food) or avacado in my salad (mushy food with a cruncy food) or nuts in my icecream (it's so much more resistant than the icecream!) So no, bacon is not a mushy food and does not belong in my mushy food.
Haven't seen it up here yet but I think I'd try it once out of curiosity...it doesn't sound appetizing but if it's done just right it could be delicious.
I hate cabbage most of the time but I like it if it's done just right, how the sundae is prepared really determines if such an odd combination could work.
Maple ice cream would probably taste great with bacon on top like the Denny's version. ^_^
I'm not sure if they're selling it in Maryland, but if I find a BK that sells them, I do plan to try it. While it sorta sounds gross, at the same time, it is amazing how great bacon tastes in so many things that you wouldn't imagine it would!
I love bacon, I love ice cream, so I'm willing to give it a chance!

ACK I have to agree with other posters...I love me a good sundae and I love me some crisp hot bacon but not together. I guess I could see how the salty bacon and sweet icecream might be an unusual taste combination but I'll stick to my pancakes and bacon and my icecream and strawberries!

Yikes! I do not think that would be a good mixture! I LOVE bacon and all, but not on ice cream!

The title of this thread made me gag.
Don't get me wrong. I love me some bacon. But, on a sundae? Bleh.
Didn't Denny's do this a whole year ago? I remember Sam/Jul!a posting photos of it over on FB.
Yeah. I never eat there, but one of my daughters goes out late at night, (when nothing is open except Denny's) and some of the guys she hangs around with used to have "all bacon" dinners. Bacon in everything, including their ice cream.
