I like a mix. It's nice to mix up ground beef with ground sausage and use all the juices in your sauce. Sausage and beef each give their own flavor that help with the red sauce. Use a little of both. It's awesome.
Usually, I prefer white sauce or a buttery sauce to red sauce. I don't get heart burn from them like I do red sauce. Also, I hate sweet red sauce and just about everyone has sweet red sauce. Leave
out of my red sauce and add some cajun spice!
