Most of my recipes are family or self-taught recipes, but some of them are also ones I accumulated through my chef mentors at college

I have a combo of all of the above! I have tons of cookbook and cooking magazines. I have a collection of old family recipes, though I've modified them, because I'm vegan. And then I search the internet when I need a recipe fast for something I don't have in my books.

Also, I just make stuff up all the time. *lol*

Simply Recipes, The Pioneer Woman, Smitten Kitchen, All Recipes, various other blogs.. I use books, too, occasionally.

Here and there...some from cookbooks, internet and newspaper. Sometimes I'll conjure up the recipe after eating something I like at the restaurants, although they don't taste 100% alike, they're pretty close to what I've had at the restaurants.

I really don't use recipies that much. If I need one I ask my mom first, then look through my cookbooks and then use the internet. Occasionally I will ask a friend if I really like something they made.
