Yeah not like the movie at all. Its all really really old apartments and run down houses that look nothing alike. When I found out I was like ohhh, I see what you did there Burton.

totally excited. not about buying presents for some people... (you know.. your parents you've never gotten along with and will NEVER know what to buy for...) but about the general holidays, yeah. they make me feel good for the most part.

They filmed it in Flordia though, so maybe somewhere in flordia looks just like this.

Yes! I got the tree set up this past weekend with the help of a friend, and this weekend I hope to get presents wrapped and underneath it.

Wow, you're doing much better than we are. We have a tree, but only a couple presents bought. We demystified santa this year, so we can put presents under the tree, but with a 4 and 6 year old, they'd just get opened up early. Still a little young to make them anticipate that long

After two weeks of my husband and I not being free at the same time, our good friend volunteered to help since they knew how much I wanted to get the tree up.
