Are you ready to learn more about photography and share your interest in photography with your fellow Eden Fantasys friends? Yes? Well, then come join us for the inaugural Eden Photographers club meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, March 15 at 7:00 pm EDT right in this very thread. Among the things planned are:
--The theme for the photos to be posted on the EF tumblr blog next month to be critiqued by your fellow club members.
--The giving away of a $25 Eden Fantasys gift certificate.
The meeting will also be the place where you can share what you hope to get out of this club with everyone. This will help me better cater the content of the articles I’ll be posting on the Eden Clubs and Events Blog to the various interests. It will also let everyone else know your strengths and weaknesses from a photography standpoint so that we can all help each other better. Of course, like all EF meetings, it will be a fun and free-wheeling opportunity to socialize with other EFers. Being the inaugural meeting, I don't expect to get into the more technical or compositional aspects of photography during this meeting unless someone brings up something, but future meetings will cover one or more of these topics.
I am really excited to get Eden Photographers off the ground, as photography is a passion of mine, as are teaching and learning. This meeting should be a great jumping off point for what I am hoping and expecting to be a fun and rewarding experience for all of us. In the mean time, please feel free to post whatever you like in the Eden Photographers subforum with regards to photography. There will be no need to save up questions or comments for the meetings, so if you have any, visit the Eden Photographers subforum now!
