Did you get the email from Jenn regarding the changes?

I read the emails and studied the updated edenbloggers page here on eden.

I did my best to recap the changes in a post on my blog.
read it here

anybody notice anything I missed?

The biggest impact (besides having to change old posts) is that if you use individual post disclosures as opposed to a site-wide disclosure) then you can only post every 8 weeks. There are several other minor changes as well.

i still need to "fix" the links in the old ones. but just did a new one, and it was easy to go with the changes. i have blogger, so all i had to do for the no follow linking was check the box off. the one thing i wasn't sure on is if a link is automatically do follow as long as the box for no follow isn't checked. or if it's gotta be coded. just to be sure i put in the do follow in the html, but i need to find out for sure if that's necessary since html can be a pain.

all in all, it's not as bad as it sounds

just did mine. i have blogger , so i just clicked on each link- then "change" then in the popup box i checked of the box "Add 'rel=nofollow' attribute"

i already had the site disclaimer, i usually do individual disclaimer as well. but i think i won't anymore so that i can post more often for giftcards.

Yeah I usually do the individual disclaimer but I am going to do a site wide one.

I use Blogger as well and it was pretty easy to go through and click on the nofollow tag when updating. I also put on a site-wide disclosure policy, which was probably something I needed anyway. All in all I think both things took me 30 minutes.

I just ran into the issue of what to do about widgets...how the heck do u make a widget no-follow?

well i figured it out in blogger.
paste the html like you normally would,
then switch back over to "compose".
click on the widget- click on "change"
and the pop-up box comes up for the link.
check off the box that says "Add 'rel=nofollow' attribute"
and hit OK.
