Depends on if your problem is doing the actual review or writing the review. I can't help you find time to review.

As far as writing, get rid of all distractions; close all excess windows, IMs, chats, Twitter and try to just write for 10 mins. Do this everyday and in no time you'll have a post written.

I feel like third is too dry for reviews and first is too personal, so I almost always end up in second. Heh.

Yes, that is SO me! LOL

These are all such awesome tips! I dread writing the apology posts. Most times, if an ide pops in my head I write it down. I have half hand-written blog posts all over my desk. The only is finishing them. I have SO many half done posts in draft that it isn't funny. I'm kinda in a writer's block at the moment.

Sex toys are a great thing to be fascinated with; I don't usually come up with many ideas for posts revolving around them though.

I have half-written blog posts all over my Wordpress dashboard. Heh. I don't do it with my reviews, but it keeps popping up with my personal posts. Writer's block is sad though.

Not really, reading about everyone else and seeing what they might like to read about is perfectly acceptable.

Doesn't sound like stalking to me! After all, that's what social networks are for, right? Connecting and creating your own ideas after what other people say.

Post the half done ones, no one is going to know but you that it's only half done. Then you can continue the post when you feel ready and can link to the first part.

My 13 yr old son came walking in the living room with my Flash Flapper a couple of weeks ago wanting to know what it was while we were all watching tv...that one kind of wrote itself!

I never mention names just situations that I think we all deal with in some way or another. Thanks.

Exactly. If someone has written about it 10 others have experienced something similar. It's about creating connections with people.

It's mostly finding the time to sit down distraction free and work. I'll work on the 10 distraction-free minutes a day and see if I can manage to get some more good reviews up, thanks!

I'm new to the blogging. I started one that covers travel and sex. The sex ideas I get from work. I do HIV testing and I hear some really interesting stories, daily.

When an idea comes to mind but you aren’t writing or don’t have access to your blog, do you jot it down somewhere? Keeping an idea journal is a good go-to item to have when you are stuck.

A journal can be anything, from a word document to a physical notebook. Write down your idea and flesh it out a bit with some points you will want to cover. You can carry this notebook with you wherever you go.

I keep a Google Document that I can access from any computer and add my thoughts to at a moment’s notice. Then, when I’m stuck I can just pull a topic from that list and run with it.

Another way to keep an idea list is to make drafts in your blog whenever an idea hits you. Use the post space for an outline or key points you want to cover and then save it. That way when you get stuck with a white screen just pull up one of your drafts and keep working with it.

Do you have an idea list? Would you find an idea list helpful for your blog? Why or why not?

That is really cool. I bet you hear all kinds of things. People should have the ability to be more informed on this.

I actually do have an idea list, believe it or not. I haven't accessed it in months, but I usually take ideas off of other people's ideas (or my mind) and write them down for later usage.
