I actually do have an idea list, believe it or not. I haven't accessed it in months, but I usually take ideas off of other people's ideas (or my mind) and write them down for later usage.
If you don't access it how is it helping your Blogger's block?

Well, that would be a very good question. I mostly have been writing about my own ideas at the moment, but really, with my sex toy reviews, it's more of a matter of "Here's toy. Write about toy". Writing personal posts is so much harder.

I think mine has about 10, so I guess you win. I should use some of those topics and write an EdenCafe post sometime.

I love putting pen to paper. Unfortunately, I end up with a ton a half written pieces everywhere in half-empty notebooks and on pieces of paper. The main thing I'm taking from tonight is 1) no apologies and 2) take the time and write.

Sometimes a simple solution to breaking the white screen habit is to pick a different blog post style. If you always write in first person, try 3rd. If you always tell a personal story, try writing your opinion of current news. Shake it up a bit. There are dozens of types of blog posts to make your blog interesting and keep you on your toes.

An easy blog post that I employ when my mind just isn’t working for me is a list. This can be what’s commonly called a ‘sneeze page’ where you link to awesome posts in your blog that people may have missed, a topical list or theme of posts on your blog or even a top 10. A list of links or links with short summaries as to why you picked it work great.

It doesn’t even have to be posts from your blog. If you can pull your favorite posts about a certain topic from others in your niche is shows your readers that you are following and enjoying other people they too might be interested in.

One of the articles that I sent in was because my 15 year old daughter came to me and told me that she thinks shes bi-sexual and how we are dealing with how society is looking at her. If something makes me mad (like her being ashamed to tell me for fear that I wouldnt support her..which I do full force) then I can write for hours about it.

Those sound like great things to take from this. I wish I could still hand-write things. I used to really love it, but with the invention of the computer (and my use of it), handwriting feels so slow anymore that I rarely handwrite.

I agree about pen to paper. I was wondering if I was the only person who still used REAL paper and pen. LOL. You sound like me with the papers everywhere! I plan to buy a couple notebooks dedicated to just blogging to try to reduce that problem. I have a huge pile of jotted down notes beside me. If I had a working camera I'd post a quick pic.

I use 'Write or Die' link to do my reviews in. It doesn't let you open other tabs and even fusses at you when you stop writing.

I have that same problem. I'll be on a call or something and I'll be taking notes by writing them down and there's this long awkward pause I start to notice where nobody's saying anything and I have to be all "oh, sorry, I was jotting down notes."

Better late than never! Welcome Write or Die is scary-looking. I don't think I'd do well with something like that, but it's a really neat idea.

Hi! I know I'm late but I'm going to pop in here real quick before I read the back posts.
We each have idea lists of sorts but we really need to get them organized. They show up on text files (computer), old envelopes, notebooks, etc... our desk is a mess

Haha. I know. I had to answer 6 essay questions today for an exam, handwritten, and I wanted to bop the professor upside the head. The handwriting thing takes forever, and it makes my hand cramp. I wish we'd be able to type.

That all sounds awesome. I can't do anything like that. I have a horrible habit of naming files non-descript things, so currently, there's a meow.txt, meow2.txt, and grawr.txt file on my desktop. Ugh.
