Thanks! I had been working on it pretty much since it happened. The subject wanted a recounting from my perspective and I just finished it this morning. I am sure it could use more editing, but it is fun.

This is where it is posted but it has not been published so I hope people can read it and tell me what they think. I have not been able to fix this copy because it was never given back to me. But the copy I have fixed wont fit here. As a newbie I have no idea what I am doing so I hope this works.

It was very good and descriptive, although imo, she got over that jealousy faster than most.

Heh writers are as bad as any other artist we are never satisfied and always wanting to tweak the work. Lots of people don't realize that the process of writing doesn't end when the pen leaves the paper...that's when it begins!

The feeling is that this is a process not like the first flash of jealousy. It gets easier over time and after a while you just stop reacting. Sort of like desensitizing yourself to driving a car...at first your heart is going 90 miles an hour from start to finish and after a while it just becomes nothing special.
Once she realized that this WASN'T a picture of a lover she was able to let her rational brain take over. Jealousy just isn't rational and has no basis in fact. Although it seems like she was able to push past it quickly she actually took longer than it takes me now-a-days.

Very nice! Very descriptive and runs along a nice inner train of thought. I think we have all been through a similar process!

JF Key writes with such heart doesn't she? Simple and pure, from a deep place inside. That's the best place to write from, in my opinion.

That is good! And I totally agree. No basis in fact and is almost completely unfounded most of the time.

I do have a proposition for you guys. There are quite a few writers looking for someone to sort of proofread their work before they send it in to SexIs magazine. I'm wondering if you guys wouldn't be interested in having a sort of writer's buddy system? You would have to work through email because SexIs won't accept anything that has been previously published but it's not that hard.
I helped Chuchii with one of her articles and it took second place in the last contest on SexIs. It's a great way for some of our less strong authors to get a bit of extra help before turning in a piece.
Would you guys be interested in helping or even taking help from a system like this?

I wouldn't be able to answer that yet (unexpectedly busy at the moment), but I would certainly consider it.

It sounds like a good idea. I would be willing to help, but it would need ro be shorter articles as I just seem to keep losing time to do anything. :p

That's the conception I am trying to get people to see....spending your day worried about what excitement your partner MIGHT be experiencing is a miserable way to line. For the most part it's an exercise in stupidity and a colossal waste of time. If we can get people to see that life is to short for such silliness maybe great change can really come about. People would be really free to actually CHOOSE what love style works for them and be really free to find partners that share those goals. When you CHOOSE your path in life it's really difficult for anything to knock you off of it!

You don't have as far to go as many do. Your thoughts are well laid out and you have very good descriptions. A lot of it was just some grammar and paragraph changes. It was well done dor a first attempt!

The help can be as intense as rewriting an entire article with the person or as simple as helping them to organize a map of their topic so the article flows properly.
This is just a brain storm right now...we'll work out all the details as we go along.

I am coming up with some ideas for workshops I can do for you guys...to begin with and then I can (hopefully) get some of the writers involved in doing their own workshops! There are so many things I could give a live presentation of...but what are you guys most interested in? Proofreading? Designing and writing short stories? What type of workshop would you be interested in attending?

Helping people like me I just finished one. I have a hard time with organization, spelling, and grammar. It's along story of why my brain don't work right. But it keeps my brain working right and I love it, most days.

Great! We are not truly poly in our relationship, but we are moving past the jealousy some and working on ways of dealing with it. Actually, my wife got upset with me because I wasn't jealous of her going out and meeting another guy. And I am definitely not jealous of her meeting other women!

LOL Make sure she understands that you aren't saying that you want to share her like a piece of candy but that you enjoy when she is happy and feels free enough to enjoy meeting interesting people. You trust her and you know she is with you because she wants to be there. You are confident and secure enough that you can allow her to freely meet and enjoy lovely people without fearing that she will leave. THAT'S sexy!

Well if I can get a good buzz about some workshops I can convince our resident staff member that it's worth the time and energy! I'd love to do a review writing workshop to sort of kick things off. Would that be interesting for you guys? Since it's actually a form of formal writing with informal style I will be bringing up lots of the same sorts of tips as I would for short story writing.

Exactly! I'll just copy and paste this.

She is the partner who was helpong with me with the scene with Nora so she has come a long way in a relatively short time, all things considered.
