So it seems the group is leaning more toward a limit of one piece per topic...what about different styles? Say if a person wanted to write a piece of fiction and a lovely poem about one topic? Could they forgo the other topics limiting it to a maximum of three pieces per author? What do you guys think?

I think that's fair. I think that the max should be based on submissions not topics.

I'd say one per topic regardless of what is written.

Me too, I have written two different articles. I just don't know what to write about. It's like everything else for me, once I am given an idea I can really start rolling, but before that I am totally stagnant. It blows.

I think I'd be ok with a limit of 3 pieces per author.

I find it very helpful to have a group read over my writing drafts and give constructive criticism. The feedback is so useful, and it's even more useful to have a group who's expecting you to actually write something to share. That way it's more likely to get done.
Also, I am totally into reading other people's work and giving feedback. Writing is fun

Same here. I'll get a couple great ideas and pump out a few things, but then I end up sitting here twiddling my thumbs for a while once I run out of steam, lol

I think that's a good idea. Or maybe make it a max of two per topic, but three all together?

The ones I submitted and had published were all based on Carrie Anns suggestions for what she was looking for around Thanksgiving and Christmas.I wish she would do more of those
