I've tried it and the results were fairly well disastrous. :/

This! I would imagine quite a few people will either check it out due to curiosity, or they may be fans of erotica already and hadn't heard of the book before.

Yup! Imagine how many more people heard about her book because of those protesting it.

It's called "Wicked: Sexy Tales of Legendary Lovers."

All of the controversy has probably helped in finding new readers as well. Just goes to show that all publicity is good publicity.

I have a friend who just released a book that is getting a lot of flack for the title and she said the same thing. Basically, every time something negative is printed/posted, her sales go up.

Yay! Thanks! I'll have to look into that fundraiser thing, but maybe I'll just be greedy and keep it for myself.

Wicked, Sexy Tales of Legendary Lovers. That was it. A terrific book.

I'd love to do an anthology of short fiction with a theme of turning up the heat on classical stories, but I suppose it would have too much of a niche market to work.

And a porn parody of Pride & Prejudice isn't a niche market novel?

My last question for Mitzi is one we've already discussed, but I'll post it anyway.

4. What--or who--is your favorite part/character in your P&P adaptation? Which was the most fun to write?

Mitzi: They were all great fun to write, and I've probably left no one unscathed. Jane Austen created some wonderfully ridiculous and occasionally romantic characters - there was just so much for me to work with. Everyone's particular kink is quite fitting with their personalities. You can easily imagine that yes, they would, indeed, get up to these things!
