Exactly like that. Very old and very ornate.

I agree. I remember the movie Into the West and there was a part where one of the women was kidnapped and she fell in love after a time. Love it !
THat's really interesting. I don't really think being kidnapped or there against my will is too common in my fantasies... usually I'm there voluntarily, cheerfully, and helpfully

This was the first erotic book I've read - well - other than a tiny part of one I read when I was like 15 and it was titled "Raped" - I was at another gal's house and she handed it to me to read.

I liked "Smell as Sweet" - I'm a romantic at times - what can I say? Also, I find workplace stories very hot...and there is beautiful lingerie that someone else is buying for me...er, her.

This is me grinning at a fantasy fulfilled but I don't want to out my accomplices on a public forum

I love Tall Ships too.

Oh my. I'm all giddy all over again.

Nothing like a kid in the litter box to detract from the mood of the evening.

I find pirates and Vikings more interesting than lingerie, in general (although many a bodice gets ripped in those books, if that counts,) but there were some mighty sexy displays of underwear in the book, like this one:

"Lingerie and admission of sexual fantasy go together like satin and lace; the saleswoman in “Underwear,” by Kay Jaybee, gets more than she expected doing a home delivery of items for a man who’s so sexually forward she doesn’t believe he actually has a girlfriend to buy underwear for. That is, until the two women meet and turn panty sales into a game of sexual one- up(wo)manship. In “All Shaved Up,” by Liv Olson, a playful yet shy woman admits she likes shaving; her naughty boyfriend admits it too, as they take turns daring each other to smooth down and go further."

[But does anybody really sell lingerie door-to-door?]

I was helping my husband soak my horse's hoof. He's dead lame. We think he has an abscess.

Being kidnapped or forced seems to always be a part of my fantasys - whether it is a slave girl in Biblical times or whatever. Or having someone break into the house....

The tough thing is - my husband can't "connect" with these things. He was brought up in a home with violence and for him to try to do these - its like it damages his soul because he has to reach back into that anger and hurt.

I would be more likely to purchase lingerie from a door-to-door salesman than via any other method. Maybe somebody should try!

Speaking of "A, B, and C, Oh My!", has anybody ever read Alan Moore's "Lost Girls"? Heck of a lot of fantasy fodder in there.

I think a lot of my fantasies involve the "shelter from the storm" sort of ... more
That sounds great, Antipova. I'll have to look it up. Historical settings are my favorites.

Back between 1988 and 1995 (thinking of where we lived at the time) there was a company that had lingerie parties in homes. I remember that.

I know but have you ever read a story that turned you on AND made you feel icky all at the same time?

My boyfriend and I often talk about "christening my car," I suppose that's just one of my fantasies that we have yet to fufill. But like it was said earlier, it's hard to find a decent spot (or parking garage) where you won't be interrupted.

That can be tough to work through! It's good that he's able to explain that to you so you can be patient, though.

No. If I feel icky, I CANNOT feel turned on.
