I can appreciate that perspective, but I'm not sure I got a lot of intimacy in those scenes during the missionary positions. To me, the intimacy associated with missionary is the closeness of the two bodies, the eye contact. I just didn't get that, but maybe that's just me. Also, and please don't take this disrespectfully, but if you didn't want "gynecological clinical close ups," why was a lot of the missionary scenes shown from behind to visualize the penetration?
