I think only my lingerie reviews have ended up being long enough that I can make that mistake with really. I try to type out as much as I can, and then have a whole bunch of line breaks and then the gibberish. When I come back to it, I'll reread what I have written and go from there.

Ha! That's what I normally do. She and I tend to think alike anyway, so I'm not surprised.

Awesome, I'll ask her tomorrow. Thank you! And, I do keep meaning to shoot you a message. Wasn't there something specific I was supposed to msg you about? However, it keeps slipping my mind.
I honestly can't remember. But you're welcome to shoot me one whenever anyway, lol.

Alright here comes the fun part! (not lol) Commas! I still hate the way OWL words this Quick Comma Guide Sheet because I always have a problem with actually defining parts of a sentence, I have always just known what sounded right or wrong.

I am going to try my best to explain where to use commas, but as mentioned earlier I kind of suck at them. (Ironic huh? )

Ok, sorry, Michele told me I shouldn't write that but I couldn't resist.
No, you're right. Orgasms produce endorphins which reduce stress and create happy feelings (duh)! Also, we tend to exert ourselves to one extent or another while masturbating or having sex, therefore, we get exercise, releasing more endorphins, and relaxing our muscles, and so on and so forth.

Gosh I thought making a standard template would make me a dork! I usually open one of my old reviews with all the breaks that remind me what to add to free form reviews.

Alright here is yet another OWL link with some examples of right and wrong comma usage. Only way I can really show it!

Use commas to separate independent clauses ( parts of a sentence that can be by themselves, but sound wrong when they are put together without a comma. Hope that makes sense) when they are joined by any of these seven coordinating conjunctions: and, but, for, or, nor, so, yet.

The game was over, but the crowd refused to leave.

The student explained her question, yet the instructor still didn't seem to understand.

Yesterday was her brother's birthday, so she took him out to dinner.

I love that you are referencing Owl at Perdue, anything else would gain major scrutiny from me...I am a bit of a geek about grammar.

free form reviews scare me a little -- I know some products don't allow you to use the extended.

Welcome everyone who just popped in! Glad to see you here Any suggestions are welcome!

Use commas after introductory a) clauses, b) phrases, or c) words that come before the main clause.

(Common starter words for introductory clauses that should be followed by a comma include after, although, as, because, if, since, when, while).

While I was eating, the cat scratched at the door.

Because her alarm clock was broken, she was late for class.

If you are ill, you ought to see a doctor.

When the snow stops falling, we'll shovel the driveway.

Good stuff from cherryredhead88. I always thought I used commas too much. Turns out I write the way I talk, with with pauses here and there.

However, don't put a comma after the main clause when a dependent (subordinate) clause follows it (except for cases of extreme contrast).

Incorrect: She was late for class, because her alarm clock was broken.

Incorrect: The cat scratched at the door, while I was eating.

Correct: She was still quite upset, although she had won the Oscar. (This comma use is correct because it is an example of extreme contrast)

You wouldn't be the only one. If it's been a while since I've written a lingerie review, I'll go look at one of my older ones for refreshers in what to cover. I do the same thing with condoms lol.
