Speaking of buy-out's and Description reviewers.

Does anyone have any questions on those programs?

I just want to point out that for DRs you MUST use the extended format if there is one for that type of product.

That's not a problem for me - but it's just something I want to point out for the record.

Its not about what you write, its half about promotion. You need to be able to market your self through social media. You have to have a twitter presence and tag yourself correctly. You can get a huge audience if you know how to market yourself.

I would like to know more about the descriptive program and what one needs to do to join it.

Just be warned - I don't think they always read your preferences for the DR program...

I mean - here we are - plain vanilla couple - no anal sex - no bdsm...

The first thing they offer us is floggers.

The next thing (if I remember the order right) is a prostrate massager.

So be prepared.

With that said - I LOVE the DR program but I wish I'd get more stuff offered.

The DR program doesn't really have a "hey welcome to the club" letter, you just start getting descriptive reviews assigned to you one day.

I didn't get accepted when I applied but I also had a lesser rank.

The way it worked for me, is that I never got a reply to my email, but then like a week and a half later I had a random assignment. So, apparently it's not necessary to hear back.

Link your blog posts in twitter. use the correct hashtags. Comment on peoples blogs and tweets. Follow friday can be your best friend. If you just keep getting yourself out there your rating will go up dramatically. Get on tumblr, pinterest everywhere and just make yourself known.

It might have been not so much rank but number of reviews and seeing you around.

I think I had less than 20 reviews when I applied but I'm not sure.

I was really shocked when I got accepted too.

So I should reapply. Is that what you're saying?

Also, you are not required to accept any assignments. If there is something you do not want, you are free to decline with no repercussions. However, that is one of the great things about DRs and push assignments in general, trying things you might otherwise not give a chance.

Once you get a few reviews under your belt and show you're a stand-up reviewer, you can send an email to partners@edenfantasys. com asking for consideration to be an DR reviewer.

We talk it out and let you know.

I was wondering if there'd been a lull in new products lately... I've gone a pretty long while with no new descriptive assignments, but then I was looking through the new products and see that maybe there's nothing wrong with me there's just been not much new but lingerie lately.

And you can always turn down items if you don't think you'd be able to give them a thorough review---if they offer you an anal toy and you don't do anal, for example. I've turned down lip glosses before because I knew the only thing I'd be able to say in the review (besides describing the ingredients) would be "so now there's this stuff on my lips, they're kinda shiny, my boyfriend has sticky spots where I kiss him, I don't think I'm going to use this again." Whereas other people who actually use that kind of product would have a lot more insight to share in a review.

We went ahead and accepted the stuff and had a lot of fun laughing about it.

I've hung up the floggers where the dogs can see them and if they misbehave I just have to pick one up and they SHUT UP and go to bed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE those floggers.

We were going to hang them on either side of the bed....as a joke.

Yeah, MF/EF/DR's have been kinda lite lately. They come in cycles.

I will just keep reviewing and hope for the best. I may just reapply soon and just keep working hard, maybe get another mentor.

Honestly - I'd apply now and get on there. I think you do a great job and they can see more of your work.
