their are a few whose writing style I like, but I also a few who I have become friendly with on twitter. I do not want to hurt anyones feeling. We shall see what happens in the future.

You're VERY welcome!

The reason why I prefer the mentor program over going up for community vote is that, with someone helping you out, reviews tend to be more thorough and are easier to read.

Also, public voting isn't as...personal(?). All it takes is 5 people to get you in. Scammers also use the community vote to get in too...but we don't like to talk about people who scam our/your program

I'm late to the party, as usual... What's up, everyone?

@UrNaughtyaAngel--I wouldn't worry too much about hurting somebody's feelings by choosing someone who you feel you can learn from over someone you're really buddy-buddy with. It's kind of like choosing a tutor, you know? Go with whomever you feel can help you the most.

I'm glad you're here then!

For new users, the whole Eden experience can be a lot to take in at once!

This is what a mentor is here for, to help you out. There is sooo much to be done around here, it helps a lot to have a friend to guide you around.

I definitely second this! When I can't find something around the site, or I have a totally random question, I know I can message my mentor and she'll help me out/set me straight!

Same with me. I joined nearly a year ago, but I didn't take the time to look around. I didn't even realize there was SO MUCH going on until very recently. It's kind of amazing. I've been reading through forum posts for weeks now. Trying to catch myself up and figure everything out.

I'm glad you mention Twitter!

We (I) tweet reviews that come in too! This helps get the word out about the products. I know that companies like California Exotics, Pipedream, and Doc Johnson read the tweets about their products and use the info to help them refine their product lines.

Also feel free to ask anyone questions if you are unsure. The community as a whole is very helpful.

it can take a few mins. Check your spam folder too. Sometimes messages from Eden end up there

Have you checked your spam? Sometimes emails I'm waiting for get trapped in there -_-

If you wouldn't mind touching quickly on adding photos to reviews I would be grateful

*smiling* Love how you were able to break it down for me sweetie. It makes total sense. In the past I do remember asking a tweep about the review program and she told me about and said she would be my mentor (though I wasn't asking for one nor new their was such a thing) so I guess I would have felt bad if I chose someone else but what you said makes total sense Miss Cinnamon thanks.

No Problem!

I was going to cover it later, but why not now?

First thing: uploading your picture. To add a picture into a review, it has to be posted somewhere else online, like a blog, flicker, or tmlber account.

If you could also touch on inserting links. I am not computer savvy.

When you have the picture uploaded (and resized so it doesn't fill a screen), you have to code it in...VERY easy!

I've been here for a month and a half, and it only took me a couple of days to learn that about Eden, and about a minute more to wish that Eden were a place I could move to!
