Really? 5'10" to me is tall. I thought the average height was 5'6" or 5"7 wow

My boobs are below average, my height is below average. At least I have more bras than the average woman...

No, I just meant that now there's a lot of people around 7 feet tall.
I see, I was thinking someone was going to have to start a "improving self image" club. So far I am below average in the amount of bras, bra size, and i am short.

But true there does seem to be a lot more height in people in the past decade or so.

I always say I need new bras, but I never listen to myself. At any rate, I usually end up whipping 'em off as soon as I get home. It's nice to be freeee.
I'm actually the opposite, I hate having to go without wearing a bra.

Not only is it important to make sure your breasts are properly supported, it’s important to check them for any suspicious lumps. Catching a cancerous lump before it manages to work itself through more of the body significantly ups the chances of a woman’s survival. I found some facts from the National Cancer Institute:

- Nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
- 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
- Over 30% of women are diagnosed after breast cancer has spread beyond the localized stage.
- When breast cancer is detected early (localized stage), the 5-year survival rate is 98%.

So, really, it is important to check yourself often. You can either do a check at home or get a mammogram. While a mammogram would be a more reliable way, it is also a lot more expensive. Women should have this procedure done at least once or twice a year.

The bra measurement info was very helpful! Right now I'm wearing a 36 B, but according to my measurements i should be wearing a 34 C! Actually, now that I think about it, all of my nicer bra's are 36 C; it's just my plain white and plain black one that are B cups. I think the brand is made a bit differently though..

Checking yourself should be done at least once a month. It only takes a few minutes and really allows you to become more familiar with the look and feel of your breasts, as well as what is normal for them.

First, you should complete a visual inspection. Examine the whole breast for any puckering or changes in fullness, changes in skin texture, or discharge from the nipple. This would be easiest done in front of a mirror.

Second, stretch one of your arms up over your head and feel around the breast on that side. Check for any tenderness or pain. Start around the nipple and work your way out. You don’t need to press hard, just deep enough to feel tissue inside.

Third, repeat this procedure while reclining, like on a bed with some pillows to support your back. Your arm should still be stretched over your head.

Repeat all of these steps for the other breast.

If you note any differences in your breasts or any pain, you should make an appointment for a checkup with your doctor.

Is there a way to tell normal dense breast tissue from things that should be checked out more fully by a doctor?

I don't think so. My doctor has said that if it doesn't feel right, like a huge rock hard lump or something, it's better to get it checked out as normal than ignore it.

Ok. I've tried the self checks before, and I can always feel a large mass right behind my nipples, but my gyno hasn't ever said anything about it and I haven't remembered to ask about it either.

It might be fine if the doctor has done mammograms or exams and hasn't brought it up. Asking about it might be a good idea, though.

So that's how you do a self-check. The guides I've read seem to over-complicate it.

As gross as it may sound, every woman’s vagina has a healthy level of bacteria living within it. There are many different causes of yeast infections, including hormones, antibiotics, a lowered immune system, and sex. When either the healthy level of bacteria is lowered or a foreign bacteria is introduced, a yeast infection can occur. While men are believed to be immune to yeast infections, they aren’t. They are also able to pass the infection on to women through sex.

In addition to these causes, the chances for a yeast infection can be upped by throwing in factors such as humidity, poorly ventilating clothing, changes in diet, poor hygiene, allergic reactions, and products such as vaginal douches or perfumed sprays. While not all of these can be avoided, you can do your best to eliminate some of the factors.

Vaginal douches and perfumed sprays are pretty popular amongst women, as they eliminate bad odors and keep everything fresh and clean. However, these also lower the levels of bacteria your body needs to fight off infections. As an alternative to a perfumed douche, you could use just plain water, which would rinse everything out well, minus harmful chemicals. Instead of a perfumed spray, try using baby wipes with aloe and vitamin e to freshen up.

Ensuring that you properly wipe from front to back after using the restroom helps you to avoid getting any bacteria inside your vagina.

Additionally, making sure you wear light, breathable clothing helps keep you from sweating and keeps your body aired out. Cotton is a light, breathable fabric, and while cotton panties may seem boring, they do absorb sweat while still allowing air through them. Your body temperature will also help keep them dry if you sweat on them.

Eating the right foods is good for every inch of your body. Not only does it help you maintain a healthy weight and give you healthier skin and nails, it also affects your vaginal discharge. Too much junk food may have an effect on pH levels or the amount of discharge your body produces. As a bonus, eating fresh fruits like pineapples or drinking cranberry juice gives your fluids a sweet flavor.

is it true that if you eat sharp tasting foods like olives, and pickles will you taste like that?

Huh. I was not aware junk food could have an effect on the amount of vaginal discharge. Do you know the exact reason why that is the case, or is it just another instance of the body not being able to handle large amounts of processed food?

Is there any benifits to eat organic foods for your vagina?

Eating sharp or spicy foods can have an effect on the scent and flavor. I think something like pickles or pickled olives would make it more acidic.

Amen to the cotton! It's the only way my ladybits can survive a southern summer.

I like the juice suggestions. Yum! I've heard that cranberry juice (the not-so-yummy-kind...I think it's unsweetened) can be used to prevent UTIs, but not really to treat them.

I think it is just because of the amount of junk that is being passed through the body, like fat and processed food, rather than good, healthy grains or fruits.
