Ya, for the most part. The thing that might happen, at first any ways, is that it will heat up faster. I would think as long as you test it before use it may be worth a try.

Most of the time just adding more batteries of the same size will make it last longer.

(All mine are related to fixing music gear). Once my old drummer and I spent a whole night trying to fix a guitar with the help of a little lysergic acid diethylamide. It was so bad! I ruined all the wiring and burnt myself multiple times That was a long time ago, like 94/95.

LOL that is awesome! I did not know you can rent tools, but then again what can't you rent ?

Well as long as it had to do with rescuing a guitar, I will stop harassing you
I mean, minor injury in the name of music is well worth it in my opinion.

Ha! I was thinking there was something involved. I did not know what lysergic acid diethylamide was till I looked it up. I don't think I ever heard the whole name before.

LOL yup! I fixed my car last summer and while I have a huge Craftsman took set of my own I didn't have an expensive random tool that I needed. I paid like $90 to rent the tool and got all the money back an hour later when I was done. Simple as that. Most are not that much money though.

Alright folks, I gotta shut down my laptop and head home to have a very late dinner with my lady.

Tim, great job! Thank you for putting together and hosting this workshop, and also for breaking the ice with workshops in general. Hopefully more people will start doing their own workshops, and what a great example they have to follow!

Good night everyone!

bahahaha!

My question for you tim, is do you know if there is a way to diagnose whether or not a vibe stopped (functioning or didn't function right in the first place) because of a bad connector, or wire?

For the most part, you have to be able to see the connections. In the case of my controller in the beginning, there are screws that allow you to open the controller up. Then you could see if a wire was loose or not connected. But like the black strait vibe (shown using the pencil) they do not easily come apart. In that case you can only look at the battery contacts, the battery and the contacts shown here-

It's the addition of LSD that make things interesting.
