So lets see the materials.

For my testing I coated one side of the toy with the lube and let sit for 6-8 hours. I felt this would be a good representation of a user, sometimes after we play with a toy it does not get cleaned till the next morning. Furthermore, I wanted to get a better long term test.

Then I placed them in their packaging, lubed side down. This way the material is sitting in the lube and the lube could not run off. I then placed them in my closet where it is cool and dark.

After 6-8 hours I removed them and washed them with Climax Burst toy cleaner and dried them off.

Everyone with me?

If you do not get the answers you seek, give a shout after the work shop and I'll give you some ideas.

Natural oil based.

First up was the natural oil based, and here is the results.

As you can see neither of the silicone’s show any damage. I admit I knew this result before hand as I have used oil based lubes with silicone toys for backdoor fun before.

UR3

Here we see some, what I can best describe as a welt or bruise. The arrows point out the damaged areas.

Cyberskin

Same result as UR3 (They are in the same classification) Once again the arrows point to the damage.

Rubber/Sil-A-Gel pic

Pretty much the same thing here. It was harder to notice the damage but I could see there was a change in the form of some extra texture. Again, the arrows point to the damage.

How odd that the damage was fairly innocuous after resting in the lube for such a long period of time. Over time though I imagine the damage would become progressively worse and the toy would begin to degrade fairly quickly.

OK, at this point in my testing I had to put it on hold for a couple of days. You know, a job interview was a bit more important. Anyway, I brought them out for the next set of tests and lo and behold...The damage was gone! WTF!!! No welts to be seen. To say I was shocked is an understatement.

It was at this point that I looked at the lube I was using and noticed that it was of the natural variety, sunflower seed. Just for kicks I used one of my massage oils and performed the same test. This brought the same results, welts the next morning and gone by the end of the day. I am at a lose as to why. I placed them back in the lube and let them sit for two days, just to see if a longer time frame would make a difference. No such luck.

AT this point I was thinking of doing the ultimate oil test and place them in motor oil. The problem with this would be that the material may become stained and I might not be able to see the damage. I was reading a post on the forum about using Vaseline for anal play and then I knew what I had to do. I did not have any at that time so I went on to the Silicone lube testing.
