What would people recommend for size comparisons in pictures/videos? (Other than a coke can — I don't drink soda, and if I bought a can just for reviews the deprived hordes in my house would steal it.)

Sure many do just that. Just include his impression of it and how good it worked for him/you. I have reviewed a few lingerie pieces that I do not wear with no problems.

I? Am very guilty of clutter in the background. I try to minimize it as much as possible, or at least make sure that I'm standing close enough to the camera that you can't really see anything else.

lol We moved almost everything out of view. Then when I changed angles, we had to shift everything to the other side. My wife was not amused but no way in hell was she going to let anyone see our bathroom a mess!

I think any common object that people have a good sense as to the size would work. Maybe a can of shaving cream or such?

Actually I have no idea on the size of a large Starbucks cup. I live in the RURAL west the closest one is over 100 miles away.

I find it annoying when toys are sized against an apple. I've seen extremely tiny apples and some larger than two fists so that's not really a good comparison.

I found the coloring book (it's more like sketches) at the book store here in town, Hastings. Not sure if you have that or not. I found it in the art section.
