Actually, I did start writing a book several years ago, but I have little time to devote to it. There are so many great stories to tell of my life in the adult business...starting with my first job out of college (Kent State 1970...the year of the campus riots) working for the man who basically started the adult business in the US, Reuben Sturman, to my later years in Los Angeles owning Caballero Home Video (Swedish Erotica). Many ups and downs along the way, but the worst was governmental intrusion into people's right to use adult products in the privacy of their own homes. I was indicted 3 times federally, many state charges, and too many local busts to remember. I still feel the sting of shackles being put on me in my own home, in front of my wife and 2 toddler children. It was a different time growing up in this business in the 70's and 80's...a life filled with the adventure of pushing the envelope, and working with some of the best legal minds in America to fight the government, and in my many cases, prevail. That is why I became so passionate about the Free Speech Coalition...I am the signatory on all of the formation papers for Free Speech, and served on the original Board of Directors. I suggest every company or individual who derives a living from the adult business to become a card carrying member link

So...after 40 years in this industry, I started to put down some great stories and adventures, that hopefully nobody today will ever experience, at least not to the magnitude that the founders of this business had to endure. I guess it has just been too much of an adventure for me to ever think of leaving the business, and now that we are living in a time of more transparency of the companies, and less intrusion from Uncle Sam, I am enjoying my ride off into the sunset! Our industry is headed directly into mainstream America, and my journey has seen the worst, and now approaching the best acceptance ever. It truly is a story to tell...but some stories will leave people shaking their heads thinking it must be fiction...but, that will be the core of the book.
