#10YearsOfEden - Eden Always Has Something for Me!

Contributor: Ansley Ansley

Regardless of where you are in life and where you want to be, one thing remains constant: in ten years a lot of things can change. In the last decade or so, we've seen a rise in social awareness when it comes to what's acceptable in the bedroom. Whether we've stretched our own boundaries or the boundaries of someone else, the key element is things are changing.

I think we at EF can agree, for the most part, this is long overdue and the staff has worked to ensure there is something here for everyone's needs and desires when it comes to deviating from the standard missionary and boy/girl sex ruts comedians have joked about for decades, while allowing everyone to express their sexual desires in ways that suit them best.

We have sex furniture, toys for gender play that are both realistic and non-realistic dildos, we have bath and body products, BDSM gear and some really unique toys like the Tentacle and the huge selection of clothing and there's more arriving every day. The only thing we aren't carrying is costume jewelry and shoes, but you never know what tomorrow will bring!

How many times do you find yourself set to make a purchase and then see something else you'd like to try? Do you find it difficult to make decisions when you see two or more things you'd really like to have? Are you more willing to take a chance on something new because of the reviews, return policy, and other great benefits Eden offers?

To help you make your decisions, we're offering 25% off toys for both men and women! Happy shopping!

I'd love a free return policy for Canada! But I'd definitely take chances because of reviews and points on things that I usually wouldn't risk.

I find myself changing my mind ALL the time, especially if I have saved up for the item. At the time I started saving I wanted the item but then when I have the money I start looking around and WHAM! I will see so many things I want just as badly.

I really don't have much trouble making decisions when I see two or more things I'd really like to have because of the excellent reviews and sales on the site. Only if the price and the reviews are too similar do I have trouble. Honestly, though this happens so very rarely.

I cannot tell you how many products that I have tried just based on the reviews, return policy and the review program. There's real security in knowing that if a product doesn't fit, doesn't work or is just not what I expect it to be I can return it. The BEST thing is I have had to return a grand total of five products in 4 years of ordering.

Oh dear elephants.

I've got the points to do it, but I don't know. I've wanted these two items since the moment my eyes rested on them. I've dreamt and I've sighed about them. and they've haunted my waking hours too.

I hate how I have to make a difficult decision. And I don't want to make it.

I have to decide, do I get both the Intensity and the Eleven? Or do I get just one and get oodles of other things?

I don't know!!! And thankfully I don't have an address at the moment so I don't have to make this decision quickly. But the Intensity is always out of stock!

EF is a great site with so many choices to flip through and the ability to wish list everything in site (like my fun with words there????). Which is such fun!!!! But for me, the difficulty of choice isn't so much at check out of seeing something else I'd like to try, but needing to make a choice of what I already have wish listed!!!

My mind pretty much gets made up the moment I see a toy and what the toy is made of (think of it like French vanilla ice cream). Reading the reviews is just the toppings on my favourite ice cream (raspberry liqueur or ice wine or raspberries and mangoes!!!) . When it comes to trying new things, the only draw back I have is the cost of international shipping. I really want to try some of the furniture items but I just cannot warrant the price of shipping. But, I've chuckled with a friend in America that if I ever choose to live in America? They would be the first stuff I bought.

I'm always adding and comparing and searching. I hate when I make a purchase and I ask myself "are you sure you are done"? so I submit the order and then I find something else. Or realize that I could have gotten something for free. I actually called and had them cancel an order once so that I could reorder and add to it!! I love shopping and playing here.

Yes it's definitely hard to make decisions when I want everything! But Eden is so nice with all of the discounts it gives, that I end up getting a large portion of what I want anyway

I have a list of things I really want to try and get 1-2 toys off that list a month. I love when they offer sales especially Thursday and fridays ( I got my Athena that was on my I've gotta get list) for 40% off. I'd love to see more items on that list get placed like that as well.

I want it all, just don't have the money, points, etc to get it all so I'm always thankful for the wonderful community and the sales!

Isn't it neat how we all shop just a little bit differently? I mostly keep my eye out for the thick silicone toys, and lingerie, of course!

I always find that soon after placing my order Eden has another great sale on or one of my favourite toy companies will come out with shiny a new toy that I want Luckily since joining Eden I have gotten much better at choosing the toys that will suit my body and give me the most enjoyment.

It never fails for me, I decide to save up for something and then get a push assignment or DR. I hate to waste the free shipping so I plow through my wishlist and pick a few to add to the order. woe is me. lol

Really though, I know that some day I will get the toys I want, one way or the other. I set my sights on the Eleven, fate and a good friend allowed me to get it during a sale almost a year later. So I don't worry about it to much.

And like others have said, I think I really need something only to read a review and figure out that it may not work for me. Yes, reviews are awesome!

Never had to return anything but it is nice to know that if the need should arise it will be hassle free.

Oh goodness, I am so indecisive! I'm always looking, looking, debating. Even when I plan to buy something like lube where I know what I want, I take my time. Am I getting a good deal? Is something similar on sale? Can I get free shipping? Should I get it at discount? And on it goes.

I love reviewing and reading reviews, it does help make some decisions sometimes.

There always seems to be a new toy catching my eye, but I couldn't justify spending so much on sex toys or anything else for that matter. With all of my purchases I spend quite a while looking through reviews and videos and trying to make sure it would be suitable for my needs, but when it comes to sex toys which are very personal and individual a lot of the time my only option is to buy it and hope for the best, which is where a great returns policy comes in handy!

EF has been huge in helping me become comfortable with sex...I spent most of my life being extremely uncomfortable with everything, and had a hard time talking to friends or family about it or trying to find good resources.

I found EF after reading an article about the Hitachi Magic Wand and how it was pretty much guaranteed to give orgasms. I had never masturbated or anything before. I was blown away by the well-organized site, all of the reviews and tips, and how easy it was to learn about everything. And how positive everyone is about it all! Nothing is shamed or hidden. It really opened my eyes.

While my friends have gone around buying stuff at sex shops (for way too much, by the way! I always tell them "Eden has that for like half that price!!") and being really disappointed with their purchases (no reviews and no knowledge of what the thing is best used for)...I have been thoroughly satisfied with and have known exactly what to expect with everything I've bought. And the free stuff is great! I'm not sure I ever would have bought a bullet or a glass dildo or fuzzy handcuffs had I not had the opportunity to get them for free, and they make me more comfortable trying related products.

In less than a year I've gone from being totally terrified by everything to being the go-to person for advice and questions in my friend circle. Just this morning I had to clean out the other drawer in my nightstand to make room for the new toys and cuffs and lubes I've been buying to use with my boyfriend.

I really can't thank you all enough.

After placing my most recent order, I saw that a glass toy I wanted was available as the 10th anniversary $40 gift, so I actually ended up canceling that order that I had just made and remaking with something slightly more expensive so that the toy was included. I love the ordering system here. Although picking out exactly what to order is a challenge because I'm so new and keep seeing everything and thinking "I want that, I want that, that too, Oooooh! I have to get that some day! I want that, I want that, I want that..."
I also love the return policy, because knowing that I can return or exchange the toy if something's wrong, that I've not wasted my money on a dud, is such a HUGE comfort that I'm much more comfortable spending larger sums than I'm normally used to.
And the reviews are a godsend, I love them so much. The entire program in general is fantastic, but I especially love how many people are willing to review and give their own perspectives, so that you can tell exactly what you are buying before you order it. Just based on the reviews, I estimate that at least 30% (if not 70%) of the toys I have in my wishlists would not have ever ended up being seriously considered because I would be too unsure to ever actually buy them. Like the last order I made: full of glass and anal toys, two things I might have never seriously looked at if not for the glowing, but honest, reviews!

Right now I have a system of waiting for discounts on toys before I buy them, with a couple wish lists that sort them into type and how strongly I want the toys, and how expensive they are. Then, when they go on sale, I'll bundle a couple into a package and order it. I'm only letting myself do this a once a month at most since otherwise the sex toys will end up overtake the books in my dorm, and I'll drive myself broke.

"Regardless of where you are in life and where you want to be, one thing remains constant: in ten years a lot of things can change. "

You know I just realised why this ten year thing at Eden gives me pause to think. Ten years ago, is when I moved from Canada to China. Ten years.... so much can happen in ten years and I just think of what I've done in this time, and I cannot even begin to imagine all that EF has done, all the lives EF has touched in some way.

I was reading something a sex toy company owner wrote and she was saying that while she was walking down the streets of New York, she had a flash of a thought. She wondered how many people in New York were having an orgasm because of her toy?

I wonder the same of Eden. How many people would thank Eden, or owe Eden more than just orgasms? How many couples has Eden helped to rekindled their sex life making their day to day life better? How many women who always thought orgasms were just a myth discovered that it was not them who was broken? How many people out there have discovered that their bodies are a temple and should be enjoyed and not something to be ashamed of? How many people out there.... well you see where my mind is going. I am in a very thinking mood this morning!!!

Can you tell?

This happens to me all the time, generally when I'm reading reviews I get that "I have to have this too!" feeling and my order priority changes

Do you find it difficult to make decisions when you see two or more things you'd really like to have?
Yes! I have a wish list of all the items I want to get and I generally save up and order from that but I occasionally order something else spur of the moment.

Are you more willing to take a chance on something new because of the reviews, return policy, and other great benefits Eden offers?
Absolutely, the points and gift cards have helped me to experiment with some many things I probably would have been too intimidated to buy outright

I seem to always be changing what I'm going to order at the last minute, either due to deciding I want to try one item more than another or one of the items I was going to get going out of stock. Sometimes I'll spend a week carefully planning the order and out of the blue I'll swap something out. xD

But I've always been like that, I was never good with making a firm decision and keeping it. It's a woman's (or man's, you guys can be indecisive if you want too ^_^ ) right to change her (or his) mind though...right? <w<

The reviews tend to make or break my desire for some items, I think they're one of my favorite features on here aside from the material guide and material safety scale.
I've learned a lot with those tools and through the forums, I hope those stay a part of the site forever. I know after just a few short weeks browsing the forums I took all the jelly toys off my wishlist and never looked back.

A true case of delayed gratification? [g]

I've loaded up the cart, done a double take at the total, asked myself if every item will truly see playtime, and then deleted the entire deal. Maybe an item or two makes it to a wish list, and that list has gotten revisited for a (smaller) purchase.

I've emptied more carts than I can count. I typically find many things I want after looking for something specific. I usually end up getting what I've been waiting for longest. I like to increase my odds of enjoying the product and rely heavily on reviews. The product I've been looking at longest tends to be the one I've researched most.

I think every time we have made a purchase we seem to add "just one more" item. We have used reviews and the forum to help make a purchase. We choose to buy from Eden Fantasy because of the whole EF community. If you have a question or a concern about a product you can ask someone that already has it, not just the info provided by the manufacture.
