I regret not spending as much time with my friends as I wanted to during the last week before moving.
During the summer, I normally spend the first month or so catching up on sleep, which probably counts as a tradition. My mother and I have also have shopping streak the month before I leave, so there's that too.

It was my first summer in California. Being from Arizona this was the first summer I didn't dread and the first summer I didn't avoid anything that took me outside of my A/C. It was WONDERFUL!

Well... I didn't really do all that much. I went to the Western Cast Iron Art conference in Hayes, KS for the first time and I LOVED it. I got to spend a bunch of time with my guy.

I'm mostly sad summer's ending because I'm having a lazy phase. Couldn't summer end in, like, a week or two? Or a week or two ago? When I WASN'T being lazy? (in college, so end of summer break, I mean)

Best summers are summers I am in love . The highlight for me this year was when I went camping on the rocks next to the water, where I could observe the whales come close and hear them breathe at night. Magical!

My traditional activity in the summer is to grow my vegetable and medicinal herb garden. I love to be outside. My summer time was rougher this year, emotionally speaking. I just wish I could've got back on my feet sooner. Now that I am starting to feel better it is almost over!

I wish I could have made it to the beach this summer, but it was just not in the cards for me this summer.

the highlight of my summer was going to the lake with a friend and when i braved building a fire in the fire pit all by myself.

I regret not really doing anything this summer, I didn't socialize like I used to. I miss camping, going to festivals, etc with friends or a partner. One of my best summers was about 5 years ago with an ex-we went camping alot, road trips to fun places, and even just walking on hot nights into town for ice cream. I hope I can make next summer more memorable!

I was divorced from my ex-husband last May and this summer we spent quite a bit of time together while he was in the area. "Friends with benefits" so to speak. It's strange but now that we're not married, we get along better than ever. I miss him very much now (he lives out of state during the winter months) and now don't know what to do. I'm not ready to date other men, but feel like I shouldn't just wait around for him to come back. I don't regret that we were close this summer, I just wish we could have spent even MORE time together so we could see if we can salvage our relationship.

I regret not getting out of town very much this summer. Had the car, had the freedom, didn't use it. Maybe next summer I'll have a chance to find more adventure elsewhere :-/

I don't have any regrets this summer. I got to spend a lot of time with my family and we had a lot of fun just doing whatever!

In a way, I kind of regret not taking more time for the hubby and I, especially while I had a month off of work for maternity leave. It seems like there are a lot of things that could have been "sorted out" if we had just taken the time.

I regret not spending time with my family. But I do not regret making a few extra bucks with summer jobs.

The greatest summer of my life was when I when to Bush Gardens Florida. It was my first time at an amusement park.

Every summer I make a promise to myself to go camping. Not the tent or RV style but the real hard core camping with just a sleeping bag.

I regret not taking a breather from my love life...while at the same time I regret not jumping down the rabbit hole with a great guy

I wish I had gone to a water park again, but things came up. At least the beach is still an option.

This might qualify as one of the best summers I've had in a long time. I got the opportunity to attend Toronto Pride with my partner. It was my first Pride parade and first time in Canada, so the whole thing was incredibly memorable. I definitely regret that we didn't get to spend more time with one another, though. ;]

I regret not taking a vacation. I've been pretty much stuck at home all summer because I'm going to a wedding in Europe at the end of the year, but I wish I had gone to the beach for a couple of days just to get a break.

I just wish I would've had more time with my husband before he deployed. The last half of the summer has been terribly lonely.

My best vacation ever was the summer I spent with my best friends in Texas. Two beautiful months of fun and friends, and it's also, unfortunately, the last time I got to see them.

This summer was awesome! I visited California for the first time and spent 9 days exploring the San Francisco Bay Area with my awesome boyfriend. We had an amazing time!

As for summer traditions, each year my family and I enjoy planting a small fruit and vegetable garden in our backyard. Homegrown tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and strawberries are so yummy
