Honestly, is it worth it?

Contributor: lemony lemony
I've seen a few posts about the price and the quality. I want to know if it is really worth the price you paid or if it's mostly hype. I've been told it depends upon how often I plan to use the toy, I'm looking for something that will last. Can I find that in another top silicone toy, or is LELO top dog?

It has a warranty, which was unheard of with sex toys when Lelo first entered the marketplace. I own three of their toys, and all of them are excellent quality. They do the job they're promoted to do, and do it well.

Read the reviews, and do your best to choose a toy that is most likely to work for your body and provide the kind of stimulation you are seeking, and you won't be disappointed.

I've read SO many reviews @___@ lol I spend quite a lot of time looking for what I want. The LELO is a big investment, so I won't be taking it lightly if/when I purchase a product of theirs

I really enjoy Fun Factory as well. I would say that most of Lelo's toys lack the power than I need, which is sad. Well made but not what I need. Siri and Ina are better, though. Fun Factory has a vibe called The Boss which is.. one of the best I've ever tried.

I like Lelo, not only are their toys great but with the warranty, they can't be beat. I never had to return anything either..
Fun Factory toys are also great, I just love those small but powerful German motors.

I like Lelo - but they are not the only reputable maker of silicone toys. Having said that - the other suppliers are not cheap either. My guess the cost difference is a combination of material/manufacturing costs and a company making a premium profit for a premium product.

In addition to our hard toys - glass &metal - we have a variety of soft toys in TPR, silicone and even jelly. We have never had a problem with TPR - it rarely smells bad and has never caused any adverse reactions. Many dual-stimulator vibes like the Decadent Indulgence (my wife's favorite) link are made with TPR, perform well and lack the odor associated with jelly.

Our silicone toys live up to their reputation - great quality and performance.

However I do think that jelly is a viable low-cost alternative. We've had dozens over the years and only had to throw away 1 due to an adverse reaction. I just bought and reviewed two jelly toys and gave them both high ratings - links:link & link.

So if you have a proven sensitivity - definitely go for silicone - but if your not sure - buy a jelly toy - or preferable a TPR toy and see how it works for you.

Personally, I'm a pretty cheap and practical person, unless I was going to be using that toy as my ONE and only source of sex, I wouldn't spend the money. Yes they are gorgeous to look at, and I've seen great reviews. But that is a lot of money to spend on something that you quite possibly will not be using constantly. Especially if there are other options that are still silicone and high quality, but less expensive.

I haven't tried cheaper materials, but I like being able to clean my toys. I am not willing to purchase condoms to keep my jelly toys clean. And the toys you linked me too are going to be too big for me

I totally get that. It's not going to be the sole toy I would use and honestly, after reading that it isn't strong enough for one of the people above

I just got the Harmonia, which is actually on sale right now, and I love it. It's pure silicone. I wash it with Climax Bursts since I am the ONLY one using it.

I won't lie and say that I'm not interested in the Isla or, more likely, the Soraya, but OH.MY.GOSH. I love love love my Harmonia!

I have only just recently purchased my first Lelo toy. I love it so much I bought two more within a week of the first one.
And now I'm waiting on 3 more Lelo items..... all 6 bought this month so I'm crazy hooked!
I'm totally thrilled with Lelo products. They are attractive, very functional and great quality!
Plus, ya can't go wrong with a 10yr warranty. Not many will offer ya that!

If you have the money to spend on Lelo toys - I say go for it cause they will be sure to last longer.
It just depends on how much you are willing to or can afford on one toy.
I really like the higher priced toy - I get exactly what I expect from them.

I'm waiting until I have a few gift cards for videos and blogs, then I'm going to request it at 30% off. Even if I have to put out some of it out of pocket, I'm completely obsessed with trying the Soraya.

Good idea! I did the 30% buy out on Alia. And then a 30% coupon for Isla.
Plus converted points. Certainly worth it!
Ya gotta love those points!!!

I have only tried one rabbit type vibe before and it turned me off. I couldn't get it to work for me but part of me wishes to buy another one to try.
If I could get one that works, I'd be tempted to get Soraya to complete my set. I'd have to get a black one.
I'm interested to read more reviews on it!

I love the Lelo boxes.

I think Lelo is worth the price. There are other brands that are equally as impressive, like JimmyJane. Unfortunately they're also a bit expensive.

Just read some of the reviews before you buy the product. I own 2 LELO toys and I love them both, I have the Gigi and the Nea. One thing I really like about them is that they are rechargeable, so that saves you from having to re-buy batteries. The materials that they use whether it's silicone or hard plastic is always very great quality. I absolutely love it. So they are worth the money, and they do have a warranty.

Jimmyjane like NuMe suggested has warranties as well, and they really work because I had to use the warranty on one of my products that I had purchased. They just sent me a new one, no arguments or anything.

One of the things that is nice about Lelo toys as opposed to other cheaper toys is the fact they have the warranty and they are rechargeable. No more hunting for batteries. The construction of the toy is a lot more sound than other cheaper toys. It just feels expensive. I picked it up at a store and I didnt know they brand or price tag and I thought to myself, "this much be expensive". But they are high quality and very aesthetically pleasing. Something I can leave out on my nightstand and not be ashamed of you know?

Victoria's review sold me on it, that combined with the "Video Expert", aka Victoria's, video on it... I think it can work for my body. The clit stim on it seems long enough and flexible enough to get it to work. Especially since discovering that just a little clit stimulation while having patterns on my g-spot results in amazing orgasms... I'm excited to try this!

Mmmmm - ya kinda talking me into getting one....hehehe. I have to admit, I'm becoming more and more curious about Soraya. A lot of people are actually liking the look of that one over the others.

I'm going to buy a cheaper rabbit type one and see if I can get it to work cause now I want Soraya.
It would complete my set.

I'm not 100% happy with my lelo vibe, the Mia, but that's largely because I made the leap and got one it for my very first toy. I didn't know what I needed out of a toy. It's great quality, I've never had a problem with it, doubt I ever will, and I'll probably continue to use it. However, now that I've had it for a bit, experimented, and done research, I realize I'd much rather have a toy with different features.

My next vibe will still be lelo, though, (probably liv... or gigi... or elise... or alia... or all of them) because I trust the brand. I have no interest in cheap toys that I'm uncertain of the quality of.

Also, as someone above said, batteries can get expensive after a while. Just being able to plug it in is NICE.

Another point: "not strong enough" is very much a matter of opinion. Do a discussion search if you want to hear people gush over the gigi (pun intended).

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say - I find the newer Lelo products to be much more powerful and effective. For what you get, and the assurance that it will last a long time, I DO think they're worth it.

YES! Lelo toys rock want them all lol. We have the Elise and Gigi and both do there job well and do it fast. All other toys have been thrown out. One of the first cool things is they are amazingly soft feeling and slide right in so to speak but they have a habit of making a giant mess in 30 seconds or less >.>

I'm seriously hoping to get the Iris by Lelo. As everyone has said, the price is steep but the quality and safety of both toy and materials etc makes it a bit more reasonable to splurge-- at least I keep telling myself that! I can't wait to get my first Lelo toy.

The Mona is easily one of my favorite toys, so yes, I'd say they're worth it. They're always beautifully packaged, gorgeous, and high-quality. I'm not really fond of the pricing of the new Insignia line though; I do think those are a bit overpriced. The vibrations are usually on the high side of strong as well, and that's pretty decent for a rechargeable. I do like the LELO toys.

Gigi is my fav.

I am blown away by LELO products.

Confession - Before I started working for Liberator, I only had one sex toy: a cheap-o rabbit I bought on eBay. It was okay, but I was never thrilled with it. Enter working at Liberator and discovering LELO, and I am now 100% hooked. I had no idea sex toys could be so amazing! I have Siri, and I love it so much I've bought it for my friends and they are now devoted fans as well. Not only are the designs elegant and easy to use, but the vibrations are more powerful than most less expensive toys. I love the fact that they are rechargable and come in nice packaging with their own storage bags.

I am debating which LELO to purchase next. I am thinking either Soraya or Isla. After the disappointment with my previous rabbit (a jelly toy that didn't seem to work well with my anatomy), I'm not exactly dying to try another rabbit so quickly. However, I have compared Soraya and Isla side by side (one of the benefits of working somewhere that they have the items readily available), and even though Soraya is a rabbit, it has the same insertable length as the Isla. The fact that it has dual motors and is waterproof is even better! Well, I think I have made up my mind!

One good thing with LELO is that, no matter what design you get, you know it is going to be a quality product with a warranty.

I have to say with any toy I have found that most of the time higher cost means a more reliable toy. But in saying that read the reviews and watch the videos. That was great help and after trying my first Lelo I am going back for more.

You /can/ find other silicone toys, but LELO will still be top dog in design/proper-silicone -firmness/function/pac kaging and WARRANTY.

LELO is TOP DOG. I LOVE LELO.

I got a Tor few months back. Thankfully I got it on sale, but it was still pricy. however, once i used it it was totally worth it. both me and my partner adore that cockring. sex toys arent something you wanna skip out on. cheaper cockrings weve tried didnt have the power/lasting ability tor does. LELO knows what theyre doing
