Getting More Than Your Money's Worth

Jelly persists in the sex toy market place because not everyone is sensitive to it, not everyone wants to spend the kind of money it takes to buy premium silicone - and it absolutely works. When made right jelly has a good combination of firmness for penetration and 'give' for that natural feel when inside. There may not be a better dildo out there at this price point.

extremely useful review
I have to admit buying the Crystal Jellies Ballsy Royal was an impulse buy - and against my better judgment. After perusing some of the top VixSkin and other silicone toys ranging from $65-$100 - this gem pops up for just $16!

The obvious problem is the jelly material which ranks very low on the safety rating chart - in fact I just tossed out a similar jelly toy that caused a painful reaction to my wife's delicate skin. We had been using a condom to protect her from the burning sensation. Since I still have some of the condoms left over - I figured that saving $75 was worth a try.

When the Ballsy showed up - the first thing you notice is the hefty size and weight - but I expected that so no problem. Checking the dimensions against the advertised values I found them to be very close - if anything it may average a little larger in dia - more like 1-7/8" than 1-3/4" - but within tolerence.

As expected the jelly reeked - no amount of washing seemed to make a difference, so I wrapped it up and put it way waiting for the chance to try it with my wife. We've used it many times since then - always to great effect (see experience section below). The first few times I used a condom to be safe - but eventually I got lazy and tried using it bare-back - and am pleased that there were no issues or adverse reactions.

When I get out some toys to get ready for some fun, my wife will get a whiff and dismissively ask 'Is that that big smelly one?' We both know the answer because the scent is unmistakable - but I just ignore her because I know she's going to be writhing in ecstasy very soon!

If you are one of the many at EF that stick to only the safest silicone, glass & metal materials - this is one to stay away from. But if you're not sensitive to TPR and other similar materials and you're looking for a toy with a superior value proposition - you should seriously consider the Ballsy. After all it cost about the same as 2 Starbucks lattes - but will give years of on-call orgasms!

I really struggled between 3 and 4 stars for the Ballsy - I went for 4 because performance wise it deserves 5-stars - but the material issues caused be to mark it down just 1 star not 2.
Experience
Make no mistake about it - this is a big one, even for a seasoned veteran like my girl. About half the time I'll start with something smaller to get her warmed up - otherwise I can tell by fingering her that she's ready.

There can be a little discomfort when the bulbous head pops in - but once past that she loves the feeling and textures. I just have to be careful not to withdraw too much so as to avoid the re-penetration.

Once inside I stroke the shaft in short strokes - responding to her level of excitement. As she gets cranked up she will press back toward me - searching for that deeper stimulation.

I'd say that she rarely wants the full 8.5" depth - it seems that the head of the Ballsy will hit her a-spot about 1 to 1.5" from the faux balls at the base. Once the bulbous head begins working her a-spot it isn't long before she explodes into a lengthy combined orgasm.

I say combined orgasm because she almost always has her favorite clit vibe nearby to combine the a-spot and clit stimulation into a long - and very deep orgasmic event.
Follow-up commentary
In spite of the continued issues with odor - everything else about this toy is working well for us. The size is just a bit of a stretch so we start with something a little smaller. But if she's really into size - like this morning, the Crystal jellies ballsy royal makes a good warm-up for Aria's vibrating bigboy!

The Crystal jellies ballsy royal is a great toy if you like size & texture in a dildo and can handle jelly. If jelly is an issue for you, your better off with silicone - although a condom can be used.

I do love a nice big toy but I have yet to meet a jelly toy that I can use without irritation which is a bit of a piss off truth be told. I love Doc Johnson toys as well but just can't get my sensitive parts to agree.
It's great it works for you guys though, color me jealous

Arien - I ca sympathize - there is now a near identical silicone option called The Super [https://www.edenfantasys.com/dildos/realistic-dildos/the-super]. It's not $16 but it'll be safer for you.

    Nice review! Thank you!

Zandria & Pinkzombie - I would be remiss if I didn't admit that I'm seriously considering replacing this toy. The smell issues have not gone away and I'm looking at the Vixen Johnny or Lonestar.

Still a good inexpensive toy - but doesn't match the quality of silicone.

Nice review. It's hard to believe they can justify the low price with the amount of material they have to use; it must cost nearly that much to produce. Thanks for the review.

In the interest of full disclosure - we finally tired of the nasty odor and need to use a condom and threw this one in the trash. We replaced it with the Vixskin Johnny and could not be happier - you can see my review on Johnny at this link [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/dildos/johnny-thrives-on-competition-that-one-s-is-a-keeper]
