Lelo's Picobong vs. Luxury Toys

Contributor: jr2012 jr2012
Hi! I own a PicoBong Ako and LOVE it! I have been looking at the higher-end Lelo products lustfully (Liv and Elise to name a few...), and I am wondering...

To you that own something both from the Picobong and higher-end toys, do you think that they have the same, or comparable motor? Do the more expensive toys have a better motor with stronger or deeper vibrations, or do you have a suspicion that they are the same?

I would love to know how they compare before I decide to spend 100+ on a luxury vibe.

I own Ako and love it. I also own Ina 2 and LOVE her. I think it's worth it.

The motors are very different. The PicoBong line is pretty weak from what I've seen. LELO toys are stronger, but not what I'd call "strong." Well, the second versions of things are strongest. The strongest LELO toys I have are Lyla 2 and Ina 2. The LELO line is also a bit more rumbly.

If you're gonna go with one of the internal toys, Gigi is pretty popular. I didn't have much luck with Elise. Mona is another good pick and it comes with a second stronger version.

I don't own any PicoBong toys, but I own a few Lelo's. To be honest, I am not impressed. They aren't strong enough for my liking. If I ever buy another Lelo toy, it will be Mona 2 because it's Ina2 without the clitoral arm. The shaft of Ina is powerful, but that clitoral arm is muted out in my opinion. I can't feel it at all. I owned an Iris and Smart Wand Large as well. I sold them. The only Lelo item I actually have liked are the Luna beads.

I like my Tiani 2 but it isn't at the top of my list. Haven't tried any of the pico line. But I do love the Jopen line!!

thanks for all the great comparative info. It's nice to hear that Lelo uses different motors in their toys, each one will have a different feel to it. I guess it will be trial and error for me!

I'm not too worried about the 5-bee "strong"! I have had a few toys that were too strong (that freebie intensity bullet was nuts), and I felt a Hitachi and was scared! I think the highest setting on the Ako is just right.

Thanks again.

I have gigi and moka. The gigi ls lelo, moka is picobong. Gigi is much stronger and rumblier. I say if you like picobong toys you will love lelo toys. I wish the lelos were stronger, but if you dont require 4 and 5 vrooms lelo might be for you! I hear better things about gigi, liv, and mona (esp the newer version) than I do elise and other lelos though.

I have several toys from Lelo proper, and one PicoBong toy. The legit Lelo toys are much stronger and much higher quality.

The highest setting on AKO would be comparably less powerful than one of LELO's older vibes like GIGI or LIV -- so if you're saying that that's you're perfect setting, they'd be a great choice for you.
I'd be remiss however if I didn't also suggest one of the new 2 toys like INA 2, ELISE 2 or MONA 2, because you can always test out their higher power levels and still put them on a medium setting if they prove too much for you, taking out the need for trial and error purchasing (which, when it comes to sex toys can get expensive if your hit rate swerves more to the 'error' end of the spectrum).
Happy hunting!

since the Halloween sale came, I figured there is no better time to buy! I purchased the Liv, mostly because it's a similar shape to a toy I used to have that I really miss (it was jelly, I bought it a really long time ago and didn't know!). I do wish the Liv got the "update" but it's possible it will never happen, so I went for it. And I couldn't resist the navy blue, silly but true. I can't wait for the package!

Thanks for your advice everyone!

Honestly, I can't go back to battery powered. I'm a slut for luxury.
