The Lelo Gigi 2 and Liv 2 are here!

Contributor: Sincerely yours, N Sincerely yours, N
You can find them on Lelo's Official Website

Apparently both boast 100% more power and are now fully waterproof, and come in new colors.

I'm quite excited about them! I've wanted a Gigi for a while, but decided against it because I heard it was weak. I'll have to get the second version soon!

Any comments?

Same here! I've been interested in Gigi, but I heard the same thing about the vibration strength not being the best.

A month or two ago I started hearing the that 2.0 was getting close to being released with updated power and modes and I've been getting pretty excited.

I'm really curious to see how it compares to the amazing Mona 2 (which I adore!)

Oooh. You'll have to tell me how the two compare, since I've narrowed down my choice for my next Lelo being either the Gigi 2 or Mona 2, and, well, can't decide. I'll only be able to afford one at first, and Gigi is currently winning since the 2 comes in turquoise, but I'd love to see how the two compare! : D

I am glad that Lelo made the upgrades for these two vibes, though!

Lelo e-mailed me about a week ago asking me to be one of the first people to review them. I got my Gigi 2 in today.

It was surprisingly low on the power scale even though it claims to be 100% more powerful. There's nothing protecting the charger port meaning that gunk can get in there, and it's pretty light and has a lot of seams going on. I'm left wondering what's so special about it.

Overall, I wasn't impressed. I think the only salvage point is the shape... and I have the Ella for that.

My Gigi 2 is in the mail! I'm pretty excited, I really hope it lives up to my expectations and that it's every bit as awesome as all the other Lelo toys I have.
There will most definitely be a comparison coming

I will stalk you for said comparison. ; ) Lelo is my favorite brand at the moment (fine, one of the few I have, but they have yet to disappoint) so I'm really interested in how well they upgraded the Gigi.

Glad I saw what you have to say about its power. Not that it matters. I have the Ella, and that shape doesn't work for me.

I see it's listed on Eden now....curious to see some reviews. I think my GiGi is plenty powerful, so I'm not sure an upgrade is necessary for me, but who knows

I never had the original Gigi, so unfortunately I won't be able to compare the 2.0 to the original.
My Gigi 2 arrived this morning and I've tested it both by itself and against the Mona 2 and Picobong Moka. My first impression is that Gigi 2 doesn't feel anywhere as strong as the Mona 2. (Might have a bit to do with the shape and how the vibrations transfer during use) It's a little bit stronger than the Moka, but not by much. Also Gigi's vibrations are a little higher pitched and not quite as rumbly as the other 2.

As far as size/shape; Gigi's shaft and head a little small for me and I'm actually having a little trouble getting to my G-spot with it. I have to tilt the handle down to get the head to go up and hit it. Both the Mona and Moka have more drastic curves and larger heads, and they get right where I need them.

So Mona 2 is number 1 for me by far. I think I might prefer the Moka over Gigi 2 as well just because I like the larger, more dramatic shape. But if you're looking for a smaller, gentler toy; you'll definitely find that in the Gigi 2.

Thank you so much for the comparison between those toys!

If the Moka was rechargeable or the Mona turquoise I'd probably be lusting after them as much as I am lusting after the Gigi. I know that those are silly reasons to choose a toy, but they're what my toy impulse desires give me.

However, your words (and reading your reviews) are really making me want to change my mind and lust for the Mona 2...

I love my Mona 2. The shape of the Gigi didn't work that well for me since I need something a bit longer so I won't be picking up the Gigi 2. I'm kind of interested in trying Liv 2, but keep going back and forth on whether to try it.

I hope they make a Siri 2, Siri is my favorite toy and if they make a new version of it I will buy it in a heartbeat

I just put in a huge order, these will have to wait. I do want the Liv 2 though.

I really hope that they release a second version for their clitoral toys as well! I really love my Nea and would buy the Nea 2 in a heartbeat.

Would be nice if Mona 2 and Ina 2 also employ the same advanced waterproof charging port design as the Gigi 2 and Liv 2 -- wonder whether Lelo's going to replace them soon...I really don't like that flap cover.

Apparently they do. The cap seems to just be for aesthetics.

It's the cap that I don't like -- wish they'll remove that unnecessary feature!
