Rocket vs Pixie?

The rocket dildo looks very similar to the Tantus Pixie dildo I have (in blue glitter! ).

Does it use the same mold, or is it just a similar shape?

If it has the same measurements, then possibly, but it might have a different firmness of silicone.

It does not have the same measurements. The Rocket is .5 inch longer in total, and is a whole other inch thicker around. It does seem to be based off of the Pixie, though, but seems to be Pixie grown up a bit.

Good eye! Yes, it's close....not exactly alike (the Pixie had an older-style, thinner base) but pretty close.

Wanna guess which toy the Comet is based on?

Oh, oh! Is it based on the G-Spot dildo?

Nope...but that's close. I'll give you a hint: it's a discontinued toy.

Buzz 1? I'm stumped.

Give up? It's based on one called the Diva. When I started at Tantus 2 years ago, they were long discontinued - but I came across one in the warehouse and was like "What is this??" Terrific design, great toy for G-spot stimulation, not too girthy, and apparently they had glitter in them originally? How fun!

Oh, cool! I haven't heard of that one. I love the toys with glitter!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get started working for Tantus? I'd love to work for a sex toy company one day. I'm currently studying computer science, which isn't the most relevant thing, but I have some ideas kicking around for tech-y vibrators.

Rocket is based off of Pixie. It's really similar in shape to Buzz 1 though.

Factoid: we named it Rocket after the local radio station created a space-themed commercial for us. You can hear it via our website, under "Tantus On The Air". The Rocket Man commercial meant that we just HAD to have a Tantus Rocket.

(And if you're going to do space toys, you may as well name a plug an Asteroid. Because why not?)

My academic background was actually Gender Studies & Human Sexuality. I started in an entry-level position, and Metis and I found we had a great deal in common. Tantus and I seemed to share many of the same values, so it's been a good partnership.

If you have questions or anything, you are more than welcome to email me directly at JClark@Tantusinc.com. Tantus doesn't really do vibrating stuff (the manufacture of electronics is just a different world) but I honestly think there's always room for great sex toy manufacturers.
