Tantus Dipper

This looks so much like the pace from the alumina line I'm trying to figure out if it's aluminum or silicone! Anyone have an idea?

I did an online search as well, and even though I would have supposed it was made of alumina from the shape, the Dipper is not in the Alumina section of their website, but is with the Plugs. There is a small silicone plug video associated with the Dipper on the Tantus' website and its price is half that of the Pace.

So, since they also mention to use water-based lube, I'll go with silicone.

I agree with Kynky Kytty. It is strange to me that it is not more explicitly stated at their website, but under the "Expert Advice" tab for the Dipper it states silicone as well.

Silicone. I have one being sent to me as we speak, so I'll let you know what I think of it.

I'm a little scared of the ridges, though.

It looks like it would be painful if it was made of aluminium, so I'd hope it is silicone, but maybe that's just me and my texture-phobic ways.

The Dipper is made of our 100% Ultra Premium Platinum Silicone. It is a firmer silicone than our other plugs, so you can really feel the ridges. I love the nice long neck, it really stays put and the round ball doesn't get in the way during intercourse.

The ridges scare me only because of the clean-up prospect

Don't be worried Sex, Lies, and Pre-Law. Since all Tantus toys are Boilable, Bleachable, and Dishwasher safe they are the easiest toys not only to clean, but completely sanitize.

I have one headed my way...only because I trust Tantus, and as Michelle said, I expect the round ball will be more streamlined and less obtrusive during the throws and manoeuvres of coupling.

The confusion is my fault... I didn't review the copy. This may look a lot like Pace but it plays very differently. It's all in the angles

Now, see, I was all excited for those ridges in aluminum. Heh. I suppose that might be a bit much...

That's how I feel about most ridge-y anal toys. I'm not planning on giving myself an enema before every time I use an anal toy!

Unless you keep a toy in for a long time there shouldn't be much mess usually, provided that you're of regular habits, etc.

If there is some mess 10 or so minutes soaking helps quite a bit. If the thought of using a sink is unpleasant you can always tie a string around the plug and let it dangle in the toilet for a while. After that a quick wash, sanitize, and you're good to go.

I have just received mine. It is indeed *much* firmer silicone than any of my other Tantus products. The ball at the base is not overly large, either. I look forward to trying it out!

With ridges like that, I hope it's silicone! I'm so excited for this new Tantus product, aluminum or silicone.
