Aus paypal issues?

I already tried with a support ticket, so this won't be news to any EF siterunners.

I figure this is a long shot ask since I can't seem to find ANYTHING about this anywhere, but is anyone else having DOMESTIC_TRANSACTION_R EQUIRED errors when trying to pay with paypal?

I.e. a "Things don't seem to be working right now" error.

But, the base64 in my specific link translates into a domestic transaction error, which means that, in order to purchase on this website using Paypal, I need to be from the same country as the Merchants.

EF is in the US as far as I know..... I am not.

Dream product restocked and I'd rather use paypal than card payment. Just tried to see if I could get it to work thru purchasing on phone... I see that the sales on the website do not extend to mobile users upon getting to the cart. Sure they're listed on the mobile site, but the cart don't act like it. It basically doubled the price...

I already expect to lose my patience and just try using my card, but maybe somebody else has this issue as well and will see this thread and can chime in.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that you've encountered such issues!

Sadly, we don't have much influence over PayPal procedures, maybe you could address that question to their customer service representatives? I'm sure they'll be able to explain what's this error about.

In the meantime, you can also check out with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help with!

Warm regards,

I HAD a draft written up that was going to make a longshot ask about sending money to some EF-run paypal email, but after tearing my hair out about this I've noticed that the toys that come with share-a-passion are PVC. So unfortunately, I just don't think this is worth it anymore.

Even if I got this to work- ironically putting money directly into paypal got pushed back an extra day, so whether or not that would have fixed it we'll just never know- I would have been so pissed when I realised that I hadn't bothered to double check the material.

I'd wish other Australian users good luck when they run into the same payment issue that I did, but PVC is bad bad shit. You'd probably be better off being deterred by this issue.

"Phthalate free" just means there's some other softener gradually melting off the toy that was left conveniently undisclosed.
