Help!! USPS says it was delivered but it wasnt? :(

Contributor: LavenderSkies LavenderSkies
I stepped outside to recieve my package when the mailman came today, (so I know it couldn't have been stolen) and I have no package. BUT, usps tracking says it was delievered. What gives? How do I go about handling this?

I've had this happen before, where it says it was delivered that day but was not. I ended up getting it the next day instead, so I would wait and see if it comes in the mail tomorrow. If not, I would contact your local usps and ask about it.

USPS tracking can be tricky like that sometimes. You should get it tomorrow

That's what I was going to suggest too.

I know this in an old post but I'll comment for future reference for you.
Did it say "Delivered to unit"? Because that means it was delivered to the nearest post office and not your house yet. This is a very common misconception in the mail world.
