I received an email alert on a specific item with the Valentine 2012 30% discount that expires on Feb 14, 2012, but when I tried to place an order around 8 p.m EST on the 14th, the discount was not applicable. I called customer service the next day and they said the offer has expired by the time I tried placing the order. Don't you wish they specify the exact TIME their offers are valid?

Yep - if a promo ends in the middle of the day especially. I'm always confused when some place says (example) Ends 2/15 - like is that at 12:01am on that day or 11:59pm that day. If a promo ends mid-day, it's more important to note that.

It seems like the emails about the promotions always go out as time is winding down. I was notified of a one day sale at about 10pm this week... that would have only given me 2 hours to catch the email! Luckily I'd seen the promotion on the site and already made a purcuase.

I also really wish that most promos didn't end mid-day. I was in the middle of ordering something (the last fb promo) and lost it!

I noticed only on some. The rest I came across because someone asked about it. This had happened to me placing a order one time as well.
