Answer a quick question on returning buy out assignments?

Contributor: ToyGurl ToyGurl
I want to return a buy out assignment (Mystic Wand Pink) that is originally, before the buy out price reduction, more expensive than the item I want to exchange it with.

When I go to the exchange form it wont let me add that assignment because it says that the exhchange item has to be cheaper. Even though the AcuVibe is a lot cheaper?

What I plan to do is I basically wrote out all the information below and put it in the return box. Will this work?

Mystic Wand Rechargeable - Item #xxxxxx - Quantity x - Reasons x

Exchange: AcuVibe - Item #xxxxxx - Quantity x

I also included the receipt and whatnot as usual.

Can I do this?

I think that would work, but you have to pay the difference between what you paid for the assignment and what you're wanting to exchange it for costs. If what you paid for the Mystic Wand after the buyout discount is less than what the Acuvibe is going for, then that counts. I do fully admit to not having checked prices of everything before posting. But a support ticket is your best bet, if it can't be done they'll be able to tell you

Thanks. I just thought it was a little funny because I think the AcuVibe is like $20 cheaper. Not sure, just an estimate but close to that. Nonetheless I think I have a gift card that I can use to cover that. Thanks for always being so helpful Sam!

Support ticket is best. We can't set up exchanges for items more expensive than the original purchase price. If you are looking at something more than the price you paid for your original item, we can set up a refund, so you can use those funds towards a second purchase. But submit a support ticket when you get a chance, and Rachel and I will be more than happy to assist.
