Stronic Eins and Buy More save more promotion

Contributor: Mr. E Mr. E
Yesterday the Fun Factory Stronic Eins toy was priced at $258 dollars. Pricey? Yes, but the early reviews look really positive so I decided I would take the plunge and order it today.

Imagine my excitement when I logged in to find that Eden had so generously decided to reduce the price to $199.00 bringing it inline with the MSRP listed on Fun Factory"s website. However my excitement was shot down at check out.

I was planning to order this today using the 35% coupon code, but now today the coupon code no longer works on Fun Factory toys. So I can only purchase it at the full $199 MSRP with no discounts. Using the 35% coupon off yesterday with the previous $258 price the price dropped all the way down to $167.70. Arrrgh!

I was able to apply the coupon yesterday. What happened?

Perhaps Fun Factory didn't want the promotion to include their items. That's why Jopen's items are usually not included in the sales. Though if the Fun Factory ones were, the code would have been for 30% after the price adjustment for the Stronic, not 35%.

Also, doing a buyout will give you 30% off.

Thanks for your reply and the buyout reminder. Greatly appreciated!

Yes 30% would apply for orders 150 , but the 35% off applies to orders 220 .
I was planning to order other items as well to get the max discount.

...But now since the Fun Factory toy does not get the Buy More Save More discount, it also does not count toward meeting the $220 threshold required to receive the maximum discount on the remaining items in my order.

Yesterday the promotion stated that it excluded Jopen, now it says "some brands"

Yeah I would do the buyout which is less for the stronic then you decided to pay yesterday. Enjoy it!

Fun Factory opted out of the promotion (who can blame them, it's a brand new item) and discounts don't stack. If the sale discount is greater than coupon code discount, the sale price is applied.

Can't you just do a buyout?

Fun Factory excluded themselves from the latest sale too (the one that started today).

Doesn't a buy out kinda force you to review the item? If so, it's not the automatic choice for everyone.

I was able to use the 35% off code which I was happy about. You can do a buyout if you wanted to do a review on it.
