UPS Transferred to Post Office

Contributor: wrecklesswords wrecklesswords
Okay, so I placed an order on the 18th, and it shipped on the 20th. But it went a totally different route than my last purchase which was shipped roughly 5 days before this one. I got the other one as scheduled, on time. This one, however, has been different.

It shipped from Atlanta to Montana, then to Denver with UPS, where it drops off the radar on shipping information. In Denver it says it was transferred to the Post Office on the 24th. The estimated shipping date was the 25th.

I'm really not sure who to contact at this point to figure out where it is. Do I contact UPS since they're the ones I have the tracking number with, or do I try to contact the post office?

You would need to contact the post office. It's most likely due to current weather conditions.

Just wait for a couple of days. UPS does that all the time to me (which is silly, since I ship to a UPS mailbox), and the post office normally delivers it on the very next business day.

However, because of the weather, the post office is being a bit behind on things. I have one priority 2-day package that's stuck in Colorado at the moment, and they told me to wait a couple of says.

Oh, has the weather been bad in Colorado? I hadn't seen anything and I'm a 30 minute drive from CO! ahah. I'll just go get it myself, just kidding!

It might be the "Deep Freeze" in Texas that stalled it, not Colorado. It's heading to Texas, so many the flight didn't go through?

Maybe? I dunno, but I don't live in Texas anymore, so why would they sent it from Georgia, to Montana, to Denver, then back to Texas to send up to Nebraska where I do currently live.

Well, I was discussing my experience; I wasn't saying that this is what happened to you.

It is strange that it was transferred in Denver? You should contact USPS.

I will call them in the morning if it hasn't arrived in the mail. Luckily, our mail comes relatively early in the morning, so I won't have to wait around all day.

Oh, and I just didn't catch that you were discussing your experience, haha. I've had issues with reading things tonight.

Nope! Nothing! But a package that my friend sent from the DFW area of Texas arrived as scheduled from the USPS!

I have tried to file a claim online, but it says that my package is not eligible?? So, now it's time for me to play phone tag and the waiting game. I'll be out of town the next two days, so if it doesn't arrive by Saturday, then it's a week late.

It's the Maximus Enhancement Ring, which I've been excited to get to introduce to the lover boy.

Because I had such a hectic weekend (last minute trip out of town for a job interview, fiance's truck brakes catching fire... then a late night fight, and stabbing myself in the eyeball...), I have finally been able to try to handle the issue with my missing package.

I pulled up the UPS tracking information today so I could have the information ready for when I called the PO, but found that the tracking info has been updated!

It traveled from Denver, CO to Bell Gardens, CA between the 24th and 31st of January and as of yesterday, it was updated in DENVER AGAIN! Saying that it was packaged by the post office.

At this point, I'm not even sure what to do. I just have to wait it out, but I am considering putting in a formal complaint. Is that the right step? I mean, I know the weather has been absolute shit, so I don't want to overreact.
