The points program has been revised. For a list of actions that currently provide points, please see your Dashboard. In addition, points generated gift cards may only be spent on up to 15% of an order. As for requesting products to review, those tend to get snapped up quickly: the only thing to do it to keep trying. There is no way for anyone to help you with that. From what I can tell, the month long waiting period is a standard message on anything that isn't brand new, so there's no way around that, but it often does not take a whole month (or at least, it didn't for me: anyone can feel free to correct me on that if I'm wrong).

Wow, I go on hiatus from edens for a couple months (dirt broke so I didn't want to tease myself) to find that the points system has totally been revamped and that for reasons I'm not sure of I'm not accumulating points. Only managed to get a grand total of 4594 points since the start of the points program. Now you can only use points for a grand total of 15% of your total order. Thinking that me and the hubs should do a bit of research and replace edens for our main toy shop, I think I'd rather pay a couple bucks more for our stuff and not have the rules change up on me if I don't show up for a couple months. We'll miss the people we've met here who really helped up figure out the ropes of the toy world but being appreciated and not treated like a criminal for following the rules outlined in policies.

Getting $15 off a $100 order still sounds like a pretty good deal to me, considering you can make all your products buyout assignments and review them. The site has to make money, and handing out free shit is not the way you make money. You're still getting a discount between 40-50 %. Even then, EF is barely making any money off of you, but having people pay for goods entirely in points was losing them money big time, especially when you could rack up $5 in points every day by doing next to nothing.

I understand that EF needs to make money but I am very sad that I can't use my points like I was hoping to I have been saving up for a while because I don't have money to spend on playthings right now, but now I'm kind of afraid they will change their point system again... maybe they could have specials sometimes where you could use points on up to half of your order, especially now that you can't get points for the simple stuff. I don't want to offend anyone but it is hard to write reviews on products in order to get points to save money on products when you can't afford the products to begin with. Oh well I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens next
