Cart issue

Not sure this is exactly the right place, but I was wondering if anyone else had tried to place an order just recently????
I don't know if it's just me (hence asking here before doing a support ticket) or if it's happening to everyone - whenever I click on the 'Checkout', it just takes me back to Eden's home page!

I tried logging out and it STILL does it. I have been waiting weeks to place this order and I'd like to do it while everything is in stock.

But another thing I found earlier in the week is after I clicked and added one of the bloody Eden Friends items to my cart, it changes it to a different layout (I believe it's the typical US checkout cause it's the style I got on both occasions when sending someone in the US an item). Normally it changes back to the normal one (for me) after a few days or logging out, but I'm still stuck with it. I know most people would say "who cares", but I like the original way. This one it brings up has nowhere to actually click on to get the Friends discount.

I may have to just suffer with that cart layout (but if I ever get the original back, I won't ever be doing any Eden Friends items again!), but any suggestions on not being able to go into my cart at all????????

This happens only if I am still logged into my facebook account on here when I try to check out. I have to put the items in there, log out, re log in under my Eden account and THEN I can get my discount again and check out normally :/

Awww, thanks for that. I'll give that a try.
I've never experienced that issue before. I even went to my Assignment Cart to do my buy outs cause I know that takes ya directly to ya cart. But it took me back to the home page again - but adds the items to the cart. Was thinking there must be a link break or something.

I've got everything crossed that it works.

Bummer - there's still an issue. I signed out of everything and just into Eden but it still keeps taking me back to the home page.



Might have to bug the support team with a ticket if I can't get it over the next couple of hours.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem! I tried PayPal, and when I confirm my order, a box comes up at the bottom of the page saying

"ERROR: Your order hasn't been placed
Please try again or start new transaction, likewise you can use an alternative payment method."

I checked and double checked to confirm my bank account has sufficient funds, and I also tried manually typing in my credit card details- after clicking "place my order" I simply get sent back to the EF home page; no confirmation or anything of the kind.

I'm wondering if it's possibly because I'm using two giftcards- one was an actual giftcard, while the other was converted from my points.

I've been trying over and over again over the past few hours, logging out and back in, restarting my computer, even clearing my internet cache and cookies, but all to no avail

Well, I've sent in a ticket (I'm impatient, lol), I'll let you know how it goes! Or if you find out sooner, do let me know

I've had this problem lately too but only on my phone and iPad not on my laptop. Usually if I reboot and logout it seems to fix it, but it doesn't sound like that has been the case for you. Let me know what support says please so I know if it happens again!

I gave up and called in to EF to have them put my order in over the phone- to my surprise it processed without any problem! If you've tried everything like I have, you might wanna consider calling them up to phone in your order as well. It's a bit of a hassle, but better than waiting a few days for your support ticket to be answered!

Blarg I hate calling! I order during the day and I'm usually at work. Can you imagine if one of my coworkers overheard that conversation? Jeez!

Uggg, I'm overseas so the call would cost a fortune.
Plus I just got granted my free toy, but can't do shit about it. It takes friggin' long enough to damn well get here without waiting for my cart to be usable!

You would have thought that if this issue was happening to everyone, there would be more people complaining. Sales would have be way down so I would have thought they would have found the problem real quick.

Perhaps it is only affecting a few people (of those who have tried anyway).
Damn frustrating when ya have a large order to place and only able to once a month.
I'm worried most of the items will go out of stock. A number of them often are!

Hehe I know what you mean! Luckily (okay, not that lucky- shipping costs are a b!tch!) for me I live in Singapore which is like half a day ahead, so when I call it's evening over here!

But still, yesterday I was asking about one of the sleeves, and I was like, "will they fit over a, umm.. *whisper* normal vibrator?"

I found it strange that so few people are experiencing it!

But for now if you're impatient you should drop them a call so make sure you snap up all the things you want since Christmas is just around the corner!

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be a big issue - apparently.
I got my mum to check her account and she doesn't have any issues getting into her cart.
Damn it!

If we could share points still, I'd get her to buy them for me. But then I want to do some buy outs too and that wouldn't work either.

I have contacted a staff member directly, so hopefully we get the issue solved quicker than through the support tickets!

It's just not worth it for me to phone. Overseas calls cost too much. Far easier online for me.

Just HOPING we get some relief today. Seems like there is a URL link break and 'wires' have been crossed with the home page....lol. But weird that only some of us have suffered it.

An news your end from the support ticket?

I just keep being told it must be a cookies issues. Funny, cause if it was then when my mum tried to go into her cart using my computer there would be an issue, but there isn't!

It's been at least 48hrs and at this stage I feel the only thing to really do is delete my account cause without a cart, it's bloody useless. I would have thought tech would be checking it out by now and probably would be if a good chunk of people were having the issue.

Thanks to this, I'll probably miss out on the 25% off sale, but guess that's just stiff shit for me.
I've almost had enough cause this issue just doesn't seem to be much of a concern.

I'm sorry you're having this issue. For faster service, submitting a service ticket or calling the customer service number (should be all around free) would be the best and fastest way to solve an issue. Forum threads get buried really quick, pages in hours sometimes.

Don't forget about the time differences too. Customer Service starts at 9 am EST (or 8) and goes till 5p or so. Our Tech department runs in another time zone as well.

Did you try using the CCleaner I suggested?

I did put a ticket in on sunday night (6th) so I clearly knew I had to wait til at least US monday business hours. I had hoped it would be on the monday. I got a reply on tuesday the 8th just before US 10am saying it was probably cookies. I stayed up in the hope to hear so I could get this problem sorted asap. I responded straight back and never heard a thing for the rest of US tuesday. I HOPE to hear my tongiht (US wednesday morning) with a resolution.

So, I ate all the cookies .
I rebooted computer.
I signed out of Eden a heaps of times and back in.
Still can't get into cart.

I got mum to sign into her account on my computer and she got into her cart with no worries. So NOT a cookies issues.

I try mine again. NOPE.
I try the other two computers in the house. NO luck with my account.
I try a different browser. Still no cart!

I even tried doing it through a mobile. NOPE - there is a link problem in my account! The cart URL for whatever reason must be crossing with the homepage URL cause part way through it trying to go into my cart, it changes the URL to Eden's homepage - EVERY SINGLE TIME!

There is a problem with my account - not the actual computers or mobile I have tried.
I need tech to look into it.

I may just be over-sensitive here with all the personal stuff going on at the moment and this has just topped me off. The frustrated bitch comes out when something comes between me and my toys.

I realise I'm just one little insignificant contributor, but I have worked hard and spent a lot of time building my account with all my reviews over the past year. I just want to continue to be a part of the community and contribute with more reviews. But I can't even checkout my latest assignment.

The phone call won't be free for me. We don't get free overseas phone calls. We only get free calls for 1800 numbers and then they have to be within Australia. I originally only posted in here to see if others are experiencing the same. Seems to be a couple of other issues, but not quite the same.

PLEASEEEE HELP - I just want to place my order and things to be great again

Sorry - I get myself worked up easily and then realise later it's not as big a deal as I originally made out.

Hi again Shellz31!

So here's why your checkout won't open:

1. You created a wish list, added 48 items to it.
2. You created a gift registry for yourself from this wishlist.
3. You added all items from that gift registry to cart.
4. You deleted the wish list (and therefore the gift registry).

This has been causing the issue. We've removed the gift registry association from all items in your cart. The products are still there, but no longer from gift registry, so you should be able to access checkout.
