I'm hoping to order so my items get shipped out on Tuesday, meaning they'll get here on Thursday, ideally. Should I order this afternoon (Monday)?

I know the gift codes are checked individually I just would like to know so I can gauge when my order will be finished and shipped.

Orders placed that are paid for only in gift cards sometimes end up being held up a day or two (if I remember correctly) while all of the cards are manually verified as an extra precaution. I've never seen it add more than a day onto total shipping time though, and a support ticket will give you a definitive answer

I've never had much of a lag with mine. 99% of the time if I order by the shipping cut-off, my order ends up shipped the same day. Most of my orders have gift cards on them.

I'm not sure where all this info about manual verifications is coming from, but it's false. Gift card processing is fully automated and won't cause any delays. If you were able to apply your gift card at checkout - you can consider it processed.
