Blogs and such

Contributor: Gary Gary
I have several websites, one of which I wrote show reviews, funny work stories and “war” journals on for years – but that is primarily for my band and not technically a blog. So, once I’d amassed a following for the work stories (Tales From The Porn Store) which are basically just me writing about the daily happenings, and general craziness, at the porn store I work at in Philadelphia, I started working on an independent site dedicated just to those posts and things that would fit that theme. About two months ago (March/April 2009), I built the legitimate blog / dedicated website for all of my writing (also helpful, because the other place I’d been using, myspace, seems to hate me and has deleted my account multiple times). On the new site, I have begun to include toy reviews with photos, some guest writers, and just about anything that I find amusing or entertaining (which usually means x-rated and offensive to most people).

So, if you haven’t yet, come check it out: Tales from the Porn Store – and let me know what you think!

Myspace seems to hate anyone that isn't a 15 year old girl.

Funny thing on Myspace, I was invited to join this one group called "the reunion for deleted bands", (mostly offensive cyber-grind bands).

.my site is hosted at x10hosting.com they also dont allow hosting porn or explicit content.im using their free service.i started posting ads of EF about 3weeks from now and their still on. i guess the real issue here is your site content. not the ads...it is understandable that most free webhosting dont allow such offers. same true with other host like sites even for premuim account unless otherwise on a vps or dedicated server.it is a good practice to read and analyze the site TOS. but for shared hosting in a premuim account you can try hostmonster or hostgator which i think they allow it on certain parameters.same true using wordpress or blogger as a free service. if you are really serious about everything consider to buy a premium account on a shared hosting account.then later upgrade to vps or dedicated if you want to grow..

i use blogger and had no issues so far.

wordpress.com will kill your aff links when they find them. they do not allow affiliate marketing. wordpress.org isn't free but u can put up links

i use blogger, it's free and easy
with blogger or any other, u want to make sure you have it set to "adult content" there is a setting in blogger for that
