#AskEden - Withdrawing Commissions?

Contributor: SparklingReviews SparklingReviews
I am attempting to use my commissions to make a purchase on my Eden account and I'll be damned if I can figure it out. I read the help me page and it was like reading a foreign language to me. It says something about an EPP account ... I am not sure I have one? If someone could help me figure out how to use the commissions I have earned, I would be so thankful

Thanks in advance!

In my experience with using commission to pay for purchases, you go through with everything at checkout and then when you would enter credit card information you'll have an option to pay with commission there. It'll cover whatever the remaining balance is, assuming you have enough to cover it. So if you have $40 in commission and you have a remaining balance of $23 it'll cover your whole $23, but if you have a commission balance of $23 with a remaining balance of $40 it'll take $23 off of your $40. I hope that made sense

Sam nailed it. When you're on the payment part of the checkout process, there's a section on the right that says:

Affiliate commissions summary
Earned affiliate commission

And below that, there's a button that says "Redeem" and you click that to apply your commission to your purchase. (Of course, you have to have some earned commissions in your account for the section to show up.)

I'm glad you were able to check out like you wanted.

EPP = Eden Partner Program. It's the same thing as the Affiliate Program, but we don't use that abbreviation around the site much anymore. I'm sorry about the confusing wording.

Just a suggestion, but it would be more convenient if the commission total was available on the screen we enter coupons/GC codes. I don't really participate in the program, but it was a bit of a hassle to go to the payment screen to find my total, then back out to pay the balance with points.

Your available commission balance is always available at the bottom of your Main Report in your user account. It's not the most convenient, but you can always check your commissions before reaching the checkout page.

The commission is similar to the gift cards, you're right, so I can see how it would make sense to have it as something to apply to the purchase before the usual "payment" step. We'll consider changing the placement of the Redeem feature to make the checkout process more intuitive. Thank you for your feedback.

If EF does make the change, could you consider also moving the points total there as well and allowing us to create the GC at checkout. Again not a huge deal, but that would be more intuitive than having another screen open to create the GC for the exact balance. Thanks!
